I wish Ember's Note to you didn't have to expire.

I'm currently at 26 days left. I know it's, REALLY sad, but I honestly want Ember's Letter to you after reaching max rapport with her, to be permanently in your inbox if you never delete it yourself. That letter (which everyone got, obviously) has depressingly been the nicest thing "said to me" in a very, very long time. The last time someone in my life thought of me so closely was nearing 10 years ago, aaaand this is coming from a scripted video game character written by some ZOS Employee.

But it still felt really nice to read.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't her letter have a furnishing form given to the player to place in the home, that can be read at any time?

I'm sorry it's getting deleted I really loved the companion letters as well, and wish I could have kept Mirri's. A favored character can be very comforting when you do not often hear kind words in real life. I hope things get better for you!

I don't know of a way to keep the letter from being deleted and sadly you are on console so this won't work for you, but for people on PC they can always use the addon Notebook 2018. It gives you a book you write in and can even copy letters to it with a single key. Can always think of it as your character putting your companion's letter into the book. It looks like this for reference, with two additional appearances you can pick.

You get her letter in furniture form that is readable when completing her quest. Isobel's as well.

The only ones that you don't get are Bastian's and Mirri's. Which you only get in the mail without a furniture version and will vanish forever.

I just realized that letter furnishing is not the same one as you get after you max her rapport. The letter you get in the mail comes with the trinket that buffs your pickpocketing.
