What features would you like added to the game to enhance your role playing experience? Either qol options or lifestyle choice ps you wish were options that would enhance your role playing experience...or anything else you can think of. Post replies below...

- Proper moderation against griefers.

- A toggleable tag to put me in RP shards.

- A per-character favouriting system for all collectible cosmetics.

- The ability to set the skybox (and subsequent lighting) in my houses.

- The ability to set the current weather in my house (regardless of the climate it is in)

- Terrain tile floor furnishings for things like grass, sand, snow, etc etc.

- More furnishing slots.

Make outfit slots account wide. But I guess my spending $100s on these is why they don't.

Return group sizes to 24. It is sad to have to exclude people from group chat we use for OOC and to coordinate. Larger RP groups are a lot more tedious now.

For open world RP please put all group members in the same instance.

Remove loud and obtrusive vocals from personalities, or let them toggle.

Don't let trolls use mudballs to interrupt my emotes or performances.

Make companions account wide unlocks so we don't have to do the quests again.

Add in game sleep system like fallout 76 and a in game clock like skyrim has.

Make all vampire and werewolf enemies have a chance to infect you instead of just in one area.

Ability to fast travel to the vampire and werewolf shrines once you have the respective skill line.

RP only voice/text chats

A way to show you are a roleplayer right away similar to the talberd system.

Make armory slots account wide

It's a crown store marketing if those are bought, so can't be even though about being able to bypass. Zos won't be able to set such filter even if it was a potential option, as breaking immersion is pretty personal/subjective thing from player to player to be set in stone somehow.

A higher text character limit available for non verbal role play. The current limit makes it difficult.

I'd like a better, expandable chat box. I often review what I write before posting and having to just scroll back in the tiny box makes it hard to check the quality of the text, for example repeated words.

A tool that, when toggled, makes you immune to muballs, pies and the likes. I'm not very bothered when hit, but I know others are and I've seen people get very frustrated over it.

A way to add adornments, hair styles, costumes and the likes to a favorite list. Maybe make the costume icons bigger, so I can better see what each one looks like without having to try it on.

A vossa-satl emote (as opposed to what we have now, a memento). Because of reasons.

Higher furnishing limits, including for special collectibles.

Interaction emotes, such as hugs, handshakes and the like.

Enforcement of already existing rules against harassment of roleplayers.

I would like some meals sans animal products in the ingredients list... as I look at the food lists bewitched sugar skulls contain honey and scrib jelly... foods like that but 100% plant based would be awesome!

-Ability to play local ToT games at my house and have people watch.
-Ability to log out on sleep when you sleep in a bed or anything bed related.
-More 2 character emotes.
-Polishing of the old houses, because they are just so low quality and have many inconcistencies
-Ability to sit at chairs again in the newer content, almost all are not interactable.
-Usable taverns and inns, you should be able to log out while seated or sleeping at said inn
-Mounted swimming
-Better swimming animations. I am not a lifeguard, only lifeguards holding a body swim like we do in this game.
-VAMPIRE AND WEREWOLF HUNTERS. We were teased with them in Greymoor, and they vanished.
-Finish the justice system. People with high bounties SHOULD be huntable.

• I would love to see the citizen clothing getting added to the motif collection. If I can wear a bucket on my head now, so I can't see why I shouldn't be able to put on that grey item dress that I just found in some drawer. Including the peasants hats!
  
• A simple animation when I speak in /say. that changes on when I end my sentence with . ! ? The animations are already in the game, so why not use them?
  
• More regular titles, like maybe something related to professions. or something cultural related to your race. I don't care about being a world saving champion. I do however care being the local rascal that pulls a lot of mischief. Maybe I am the next Finedrin?

• Let me use that bed! I love those canopy beds but I hate that I can't even get in them.

• Armor motifs that look like jewelry. This khajiit needs more rings and necklaces
  
• Earnable outfit slots. I would love to see outfit slots getting added to the master writ reward system.
  
• Do something with the inns/ armor shops weapon smiths in this game. Currently they are nothing but pretty looking filler, which is a shame because I can see how much work was involved creating the various towns and cities. Why not make them more interactable for RP'ers? I would love to be able to work the forge, or serve my friends some moonsugary cake in the local inn!
  
• Moving carts - I want to take my friends on a ride in my personal cart. PLEASE IT WOULD BE SOO COOL. There are so many models ingame already. I would love to attach them to my horse. GET IN LOSER, WE'RE GOING ADVENTURING!

I forgot about this. It would be nice if one can target another player with certain emotes(especially dancing!) to give them a prompt like with trade or duel requests. Assuming that they have access to the emote as well.

If the prompt is accepted, they then do the emote and remain synced up for it.

Of all these the one that stands out most is being able to turn off flashy effects. I concur. Someone else wants a flashy noisy mount that's good for them. I don't have one and don't want one as such things are annoying to me. Please don't annot me with so role else's noisy flashy mount. I live in a major city where people drive by in large numbers all day and much of the night with loud noisy rides.... I don't want that in my game too. Others can have them. I want calm and no flash please.

As I tend to RP in my head and watch my alts as if they are characters in a movie, I'd love more dialogue choices and better remembrance from NPCs we've quested with in the past. Right now everything feels too on rails whereas in the base game some choices did matter, at least in side quests and dialogue. I'd like to see that again just to make the world feel more alive and consequential even if it doesn't ultimately change the main story outcomes.

This is coming in U38 IIRC. I can't remember where I heard or read it though.

Khajiit would like a way that he could put together quests for players. Define objects, set dialog, craft and add props, and even provide quest reward out of personal funds. Make them something one bundles into a little package that can be sold on a vendor.

Put simply a RP Shard or Server would single handedly be the only thing I ever want from this game. Megaservers are a curse I really wish MMO's hadn't adopted. Especially when it comes to RP.

I also wouldn't mind some kind of profile system similar to Total Roleplay where we can set character glances, write backstories or additional information etc and people targeting us can view them when they face us.

what jammy420, said, only add to it, people with high bounties, if they are caught, get stuck in jail for X amount of time. Meaning, your character can't do anything but walk around a cell, and or talk in chat. Make getting caught with a high bounty a BAD thing, more real.

What Fay Jolyn said... just.. *Chefs kiss* ALL THAT. The fact when we speak in /say our chars lips don't even move drives me NUTS. i mean, it shouldn't be that hard to code stuff in. i miss it A LOT, from the other game i played that had it. Made talking in /say while RPing SO much better.

Vrienda, YAS.... a TRP for the game would be amaze-balls. However, having an RP server would just... please... please.

i'd like to see the campfire memento last longer than five seconds... Give it ten minutes or something.

More emotes... bathing would be nice...

Longer hair styles. They are in the game... let us access them please.

DISCLAIMER: Unless clearly stated as the opposite, all of these ideas are conceived as earnable in-game. Any ZoS dev taking note of these should pass this condition along as well, thanks.

• Vampire & werewolf questlines rewarding you with a Mortal skin for vampires (aka Hide vampirism) as well as Stage 1/2/3/4 skins, and selectable Werewolf fur colors + a WW form Polymorph which disables upon using any class or Weapon skill in order to avoid messy visuals. In the same spirits, I'd like to see Class questlines with highly requested cosmetic stuff as rewards, such as additional animal species for the Warden's companion ultimate skill (they could each have a dedicated questline in order to spiritually bond with those animals by earning the favor of a powerful patron spirit acting in their behalf).
  
• Animal and various creature's Polymorphs following the same rules as the Werewolf one in order to RP shapeshifters. All of them should be earnable via an achivement such as "Kill 5 -> 10 -> 50 -> 250 of [insert creature]".
  
• In-game barbershops allowing you to change hair color and default hairstyle + beard with gold.
  
• Remove the gender lock of ALL cosmetics, including voice options, beards and moustaches. We're in 2023, for Mara's sake!
  
• Move lipsticks, eye options, etc OUT of "Facial Hair" and "Facial Markings" and create their own separates category in order to be able to mix them thus drastically improving the game's current customization options almost efortlessly
  
• Plain chest option for the character frame with breasts (while moving the slider to the far left almost removes it, it's still there), plus all of the current body hair options (which are currently tied to your character's ancestry choice) added to the cosmetic pack, separate from tattoos & body marks and, of course, *not* genderlocked.
  
• Ancestry ("Race") questlines with fitting rewards. At minimum: Two "citizen" costumes, a free-to-apply armor and weapon set, basic titles (such as: Nisswo, Justiciar, Spinner, Oaken Knight, Ordinator...), 3 personalities (only a couple of idle and walk animations and nothing else) and Dyes.
  
• A toggable Roleplaying mode which prevents you from being targeted by mementos / items used by players in your blocklist.
  
• A toggable Storyteller mode which allows you to change weather, time of the day, music, etc for your whole party (or yourself if you aren't in one). In order to activate it while not in a group, trying to do so would send an apply to your party leader, who could decide whether allow you to activate it or not while inside of said party. Accordingly, max party sizes should be greatly increased.
  
• Character bios that can be accessed, read and be liked via the Interaction menu.
  
• Automatic character animations when sending messages via /say, /whisper, /yell...

One of the easiest and most helpful features would be a kind of character journal or biography page that other players can read, along the lines of TRP from World of Warcraft. Dedicated RP shards with strict moderation would be even better, but it's far less likely to happen.

What would be nice and solve a lot of the discussed problems here would be the ability to pay for server space so that I could have a private instance, where I control things like housing permissions.

The world being open and empty would mean we could use all kinds of spaces, not just housing. Like being able to use the entire city of wayrest as a role-playground. I'd happily give 50 a month to maintain a private instance, even to just not have to be around random people...

Would like to see more interactable furniture tho... Too many chairs in taverns can't be used to sit down.
