Another year, yet another endless "You already queued for this campaign. Your attempt jump failed.""

[snip] There is supposed to be a so-called "PvP" event going on which includes the utterly & ridiculously horrible Imperial City DLC.
I have only been playing ESO for about five years, but the message quoted in the title "You already queued for this campaign. Your attempt jump failed." is something I had to get used to the very first time I had to suffer the insanity of this PvP "event". So many years, but absolutely no improvement. What are you doing?

the way ive seen it happen is after you load into the IC sewer, the queue is still doing some extra bit of processing, and if you try to enter to surface (essentially a full zone change) while its still doing this processing thats when it gives this message

it definitely seems to occur more frequently the busier IC is (it does the same in cyrodiil, but since that is one continuous zone your not really doing a full rezone unless you maybe tried to go into cheesemonger immediately after loading and only if its in the same side you spawned in

usually if you give it like a few before trying to use the ladder (like the few minutes it takes to do a quick decon and make sure you deposit your tel var before going up) then it should be fine by then and shouldnt fail to zone up to the top

I saw this message for the first time ever today, and it happened when I accidentally entered the sewers and tried to go right back out to the surface zone. I waited a few seconds and it was fine.

If you are doing IC dailies, this is where this message comes up a lot. That's because most people find it efficient to grab all the dailies and then go out to do them, but getting those dailies means a lot of up and down ladders with short intervals.
Players have asked for years if the quest givers could be moved into the base to alleviate this, but there's been no response.

Also happens a lot when you are just fighting and when killed can't revive in the same district. Makes it easier for the faction controlling the flag to win the battle. They get to hop right back into the fight while the rest are waiting for the game to decide they can go back up.

Insert something about lag and burst damage from ghosts apparently because there is no one around.

I was also running around IC using an unlit torch as a staff. That one was kind of amusing

They're busy adding 100m detection to stealth pots while continuing to remain stoic and 'unmoved' by community pushback against their many unpopular changes. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get back to work on being ignored and shunned by my betters, Orc business you see.
