The exp buff, I agree with completely. The meal buff, not so much.... I can't be the only one who has gazoolas of food? Not just daily reward chicken - I craft buff food for each character a stack at a time (though I must say, I don't really use anything that needs Perfect Roe....)

Sure, but right now in PvP Orzorgas Smoked Bear Haunch is used a lot, and that stuff is insanely expensive. Would be nice if the timer paused while home. Would also legitimately encourage me to do more with housing if I didn't have to throw away my food buffs.

So what? What's lost by pausing the timers?
What's the point of parsing with a food buff though? Isn't the point of parsing that it's the same baseline for everyone, or are resource levels needed to be kept up?
