How lack of PVP content and pay-to-win DLCs made ESO a stale experience for me.

It has been years since any sort of content has been added to the game regarding PVP.

We were told for years that a new class or weapon line would be too difficult to add. We were told PVP content can't arrive until performance is fixed. Yet, here we are with a new class.

In addition, the last few DLCs have included mythics that are, dare I say, a shade of pay to win. Not even considering some of the class imbalances that are pay to win at their core or how hybridization actually just narrowed the meta more, than expand it. Oakensoul and the new ring mythic also disable or nullify a core combat mechanic of the game that's existed since its inception, and has been a driving point of people's enjoyment of ESO combat.

I was initially so excited for this patch. However, the prior one was such a let down (DOT sets (runecarver) nerfed into oblivion and rendered useless in PVP, no new content other than the same formulaic ways of doing dungeons). This one? Even worse. An entire class that revolves around hybridization (something supposedly already done via the set and rss overhaul) and does not need to light or heavy attack.

This game is such a shell of an experience for me. Every time I try the game again to see if it improves, I play less each time. It's sad that my 10k hours in ESO is drawing to an end because of where it's been heading/is headed.
