pc EU connection 1000 ping in Sanctum Ophidia

from about 8pm tonight the ping in Sanctum Ophidia was 1000 in all the fights. it seemed to affect the players in england the most. We were freezing totally for 10-15 seconds then would start again and then freeze again constantly till it was kicking all the players from england about 3 times in the trial. at best was about 180 ping and as soon as a fight started it shot up to 1000 again and 10 second bar swap. so not sure if anyone else was having bad issues

I had exactly the same, (from England), ping between 184ms and 6700ms. Interstingly I switched my VPN and set the server to Paris and the ping dropped to between 81ms and 134ms, avg about 96ms. To me this suggests that something nefarious is happening outside of Eso. I'm with Virgin Media, (much to my chagrin), it wouldn't be the first time they've throttled stuff they shouldn't be. Could also be amazing coincidence, so I'll add my experience of this event and see if it adds any valuable info.

Just switched off the game. Not playable under these circumstances.

i am with virgin media and so was two others in the trial so maybe its the line they are using as a speed test to manchester hub was 12 ms and 350mb connection but in eso its terrible

Same thing, around 8pm it started to go down the drain, ping anything from 100 - 3.5k. My ISP is virgin media as well.
