Is it time for a reverse Golden trader?

With PVP players getting almost every set from PVE for gold and alliance points, I wonder why it is only one-sided. I was wondering why there is no Trader that sells gear from the PVP areas.

The PVP areas now have about 1000 set items and even monster sets, so there is a huge pool to draw from.

What do you think? Would you like a PVP trader that would sell PVP gear? This would also help tune down the inflational pricing in with PVP items.

Golden already sells PVP gear stuff during Whitestrakes Mayhem. Get it while it's hot.

Why is this needed? Almost all pvp gear is bought for a penny in the guild store. The problem may be only monster sets from the imperial city, but how much are they needed in pve?

Oh don't worry, it's worthless for pvpers too.

The golden has never received an update despite double the gear being available now. There's stuff that has never been for sale and stuff that has been for sale several times. We have nothing to spend our AP on. If anything this could be a pvp update without affecting performance. Overhaul AP vendors.

PvPers aren't the majority of players using the golden vendor. PvEers who can't be bothered to farm or can't beat the dungeons use it most.

Also, the golden vendor doesn't sell full sets just jewelry and monster sets and only one part of a monster set at that, so PvE is required to complete sets unless you want to sit around and hope that the next part of the monster set goes on sale which isn't feasible because some sets have never been on sale.

It seems like your real issue is that you don't want to PvP for the gear you want and you don't want to pay the asking price of those that do PvP.

The golden vendor is fine as is except it could do with some better rng on what it sells so one set doesn't show up more than others.

Are the Imperial City Monster Helms added to the Golden Vendor's rotation?

Otherwise, all of the PvP gear is Bind on Equip and thus you can buy and sell it on guild stores.

To expand on the response above: Midyear/Whitestrake’s hasn’t included any of the sets introduced in the past 4+ years. The newest sets on there as of last MYM were released with Murkmire in 2018.

I've got all dungeon achievements and enoy a fair bit of pvp but have used the golden vendor for shoulders rather than spending 100's of undaunted keys to get decon mats. I don't think I am alone in this.

This and it’s has been exclusively PvP gear during these events.

    Problem solved.

    .....

I farmed Vet dungeons and disposed of a lot of monster pieces long before the Sticker Book appeared, so will buy any missing pieces when they come up. The vendor is also a choice bet if you don't have access to all of the dungeon DLC's.

That's no reverse Golden Trader.. Let me bring golden gear there and let me have AP for it.

PVP jewelry drops monthly from participation in PVP activity.

To the person asking why IC stuff isn't on there... all of the gear for the IC stuff- except weapons- can be bought at any time with Tel'Var except the monster helmets (the helmets can actually just be an RNG drop using key fragments). I assume adding helmets to the rotation would mean the shoulders get added at some point too- I would see this as a big waste... Gold jewelry such as powerful assault can already be bought at any time. People who don't have expansions have access to getting helm sets through the golden vendor sometimes, which can be nice, but I really hope they don't start giving people the possibility of having Glorgoroch added to the vendor  In any event, I wouldn't be unhappy if they added those sets as the 20k tel'var for a guaranteed monster shoulder is well over 200k value currently, so i'd probably fill my stickerbook up with the remaining monster shoulder sets if they ever did come up.

edit: the shoulders being on the GV is already what I would consider a waste due to undaunted keys potentially getting the shoulders, but this is based on RNG.

A lot of people will buy undaunted shoulders from the GV because of how poor the odds tend to be for getting that one shoulder in a specific weight. It can take many dozens of keys to get that drop with 5 key coffers.

Probably because you can either buy directly with AP/Tel Var from boxes or from guild traders.

The Golden sells stuff that is BoP, so it's slightly different.
