I love the baron because of his unique style just wished I wasn’t forced to be a man when I’m using a female character if only they added a baroness version.

It's a good thing, you can do male dances as female if you quickslot the polymorpth and take it off while doing a dance. ^_^

Try the Xivkyn polymorphs, they're almost the same thing and have female versions. The only big difference is that they have blue skin rather than red.

Last time I used it on a female character it changed the Polymorph to female. Most of them seem to work that way, last I checked. That was a while ago though so maybe it changed.

The baron polymorph turns your female into a male, it’s just not right.

Oh that sucks then, must have been a bug I encountered.

I know other polymorphs do that though. Personally, I love the Draugr one.

You would think in this day and age you wouldn’t get forced to change gender to use this obtainable in game polymorph.

No. I think that one is set. Polymorphs are supposed to change you into something your character isn't, so I don't mind it.

A lot of polymorphs you can’t tell the gender but the Baron is so obvious a male character.

Same thing with the factotum polymorphs. Crazy how simple dances are gender locked.

The Baron polymorph makes you specifically look like The Barons-Who-Move-Like-This, who is a specific character. It doesn't make you look like a xivkyn or a dremora, which would change depending on your character's gender.
[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!

    Because deadra are genderless?

If that were the case, then why do some daedra have mammary glands? Are they warm blooded, live birthing mammals?

I believe from the game lore somewhere they did say that Daedra are genderless. That may be why they have the voices that are both male and female combined.

I can’t think of Lyranth as anything but female though, since I always thought of her as female before I ran across this info. I guess her voice sounds more female to me than some of the other Daedra..

They can’t be killed, they return to the azure plasm until reformed, so maybe they assume a more female form sometimes and a more masculine form another time, I don’t know. Interesting thought.

I think the Baron polymorph was just a cute novelty reward for beating him in Veteran Maelstrom Arena. It wasn't meant to be a political statement or force you male. It was a "congrats for accomplishing something we made intentionally hard to test your build, footing, and skill with game mechanics. Here's something silly to play with" thing. This seems like much ado about nothing.

As for Daedra gender, I think it depends on the entity. The Daedric Princes are immortal, god-like beings that can manifest in any form they so desire. But, they have preferences. Meridia likes being a glorious, beautiful lady of light. Sheogorath loves being a crazy, bearded Scotsman. Azura enjoys being a lady of dawn of dusk, and cursed the Chimer to look like her favored appearance as a slap to the face of the Tribunal. So Meridia is a she, purely by choice and whim. They're all whatever they want to be purely by whim.

I don't think lesser Daedra have that kind of power over their forms. They are what they are. They are what the greater Daedra made them to be. Lyranth is a lady Dremora. Her form is fixed. A watcher is a mass of eyeballs and tentacles. It has a fixed form. It can't choose to be whatever it wishes.

And... as fun as talking lore can be, none of the above really has much to do with the Baron polymorph, which again... was just a silly gift given to us for beating a particularly stiff challenge. A rather generous silly gift, too. I would have expected just a hat or a tattoo.

The Spriggan ones do IIRC, but even though it looks female it still defaults to male as far as emotes go.

The OP might want to look at the xivkyn polymorphs from IC. Those have both male and female variations.
