Is it a policy violation if someone accused you of wrongdoing that is not true, without proof and contacting guild members resulting in people banning from guild/ blocked on discord and mocked on Facebook groups because of said accusation?
OR are we on our own in this?
I was inactive on ESO for sometime, only doing dailies and someone blamed me for something that went on in the pvp group last weekend. I keep getting different tells as to what but I have former members of my ground tracking me down on social media, calling me all sorts of names, a coward, a b-word.
I wasn't even aware anything was going on until I looked at my inbox on FB. When I got on, I was blocked by a good portion of my friends and one of my friends indicated that they didn't want to speak to me and that it was something that was said and done during a pvp group last weekend. I haven't been in cyrodil in 2023 yet, so idk what they are talking about. But getting kicked out of Facebook groups, getting messages and not able to piece together what they are gripping about, trying to embarrass me on social media ( only info on those posts is "sabatoging groups" and "name calling" , "saying inflammatory thing against certain groups", Following political personalities ( personalities I never even known about until this drama they started) is something that is very frustrating. I truly think they crossed the names and got the wrong person. I know they have no proof of whatever it is because I was only on to collect daily log-ins.
This is indeed harassment but I want to know if the terms for f service is being violated here? Also, I believe I was false reported to zos but nothing happened ( and zos can absolutely see that I never even typed anything or used a voice channel recently, nor did I even earn any ap and couldn't have been in cyro)

So where to begin here.
First of all, I learned a very long time ago to steer clear of social media. I do not participate in social media in any way shape or form and it has served me well. Done with social media for the very reasons you state here. People can be cruel and it just seems like the more opportunities they have to behave this way enough will do it to force you to rethink how you look at things. Least with me.
Secondly, you can try putting in a ticket with ZOS but where to start with this? If the Guild banned you that's their choice and beyond trying to talk to them you have to accept their choice, even if its wrong.
But regardless, sometimes with situations things get so crazy, like in this case, to the point where it no longer matters how it began but you should stop, take some time and consider how to move forward. And I would start by cutting those people out of my life like a cancer and rally behind the things you know to be true and decent, especially about yourself. If you worry too much about what they think and what they have done then you have given them too much power out of friendship which I suspect they have neither earned or no longer deserve having with you. And sufficed to say I have few friends but I don't need them... they need me.

People get very tribal and especially true in pvp, i had a similar experience in the xbox and twitch community banding together to fight a perceived enemy it seems. I just put it all behind me and from that have a very low opinion of both communities, you find out who and whats important in your life that's for sure from similar experiences. But it certainly was suprising what lengths people go to when they end up in your fb messages, i blocked and reported it on that and havent used fb again in years. It just gives me a chuckle now and then these days 😆

My concern though, is not to restore functional communication with them, but how to stop the slandering and embarrassment. I do not plan on hanging with them anymore. They catered to people making accusations without proof and that is a personality flaw I am not going to work with.
I am not sure if I should by taking screenshots of these fb messages or the comments on FB and sending them on a ticket but that is with social media and outside of zos, I would think but. It is evident that other players are blocking me as a result of this. My PSN is being shared on a fb telling people to block it. On that post my name is not cross referenced on that group. So even, if I were not to have a an fb my PSN is being shown but, that post is not very descriptive of what I did wrong and people are asking for more details. So maybe I am over-worried about it. Maybe people are not taking it seriously idk.
Thanks, I just going to leave fb groups. I only used it as a means to get groups going; not a way for people to look up my post history with my PSN.
