Can't login through Steam or Bethesda launcher on both EU & NA servers

I bought game through steam in 2017. Then bought the game trough www.elderscrollsonline in 2019. Since then I have always played the game through the Bethesda launcher without any problems until today. Now I can’t login to the EU are NA servers. I have tried launching the game through Steam & the Bethesda both just give me a login error.
When I can log into my Bethesda account online to check my details it will not work. I see my Account summary page but if I click on any option like “manage membership” or edit account info” the page timesout.
I have a 2nd account bought through Bethesda which I can log into. So it is not my pc, addons or internet connection that is the problem.
The only difference is my main account was bought through Steam.

I finally got into my Bethesda account. I unlinked Steam & now I can login into the game using the Bethesda launcher but I have no eso+ which is paid for up to March 2023.
Fix this problem as I have paid for my craftbag etc.

This happened to me this morning and it appears to be a problem with Steam and ESO not validating the account properly, as my non-Steam install works fine.

This is how I worked around it:
    • You'll need to know your ESO account name (without the @) and your ESO account password (not your steam PW) and you'll need access to the email you used to set up your ESO website account.
Open Stream, in the Steam menu (top left) choose settings
Choose Account, then in the lower part of the box check "Don't save account credentials"
    • NOTE: this will disable "Play Offline" for your other Steam apps, so you'll want to remember how to put this back
Click okay and exit. You've now disabled Steam Auto-Login for ESO.

Now you want to bypass the ESO launcher. You'll need to find your "eso64.exe" file. If you didn't customize, Steam puts it in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client" folder. Make a shortcut to this on your desktop in case you want to use it in the future.

    Run eso64.exe

When the login screen appears, put in your ESO username (without the @) and your password for the ESO website.
If you haven't done this before, it'll block the login waiting for you to put in a code it just emailed you. Do this, and you should get to character select.

I finally got into eso. I had to go into my account & unlink Steam. I now can login using the Bethesda launcher.
    I have NO eso+.
So it looks like there is a problem with the information in my Steam account which is stopping me playing.
