What are your feelings on multi-rider mounts?

Since their release so you believe multi-rider mounts were implemented well, or do you think they missed the mark?

I believe multi-rider mounts were implemented in a poor way, but some features are ok.

In my opinion the multi-rider mounts were implemented poorly, and a lot of features surrounding them could have been done far better. From the model of the horse multi-rider mount, to the fact it is locked behind a paywall, and gives an advantage in Cyrodiil.

The model has clipping with its speed upgrade on its hind legs. The $50 paywall for the mount is crazy. Many players agree and have suggested adding a quest to the stables that reward the player with a multi-rider mount. This way everyone can have access to it, and gets around a major issue I noticed during Whitestrake's Mayhem: it allows player who haven't upgraded their mounts to travel with players who have. When my friends and I were pushing emperor in the low level campaign I used the multi-rider mount to keep my group together by having our slowest member ride with me. This is a major advantage and the fact it is locked behind a paywall makes it somewhat pay to win. Giving every one a free multi-rider via a quest elevates this issue that I've noticed no one bring up before.

I find them ugly and silly, and I'd never buy or use one (if I wound up with one somehow). As far as the current implementation, I have no opinion on it.

I believe multi-rider mounts were implemented in an ok fashion, but some features could have been better.

As @Dragonlord573 explained, they’re pay to win, which I didn’t even think about. I think once someone finishes one character’s mount training to max, they should be awarded a duo horse. Then zos can sell other kinds of mounts—like the dwarven spider—to still inspire people to buy.
My personal problem with them is that the horse just… looks bad. Also, beastfolk lose their tails…

I just think they are silly....in the same vein I think fantastical mounts are silly.

I'd rather have a horse carriage or something instead of the abomination horse they have now. It does give a advantage to a slight degree and it is waaaayyy over priced

I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other. They're just mounts to me. Expensive ones, but still just mounts.

My horse-crazy elf rides her precious mare almost everywhere she can - often at a walk. I much prefer my companion on their own horse rather than doubling up. Where doubling up would be lovely is during quests that ask you to escort someone (often wounded) to safety. It would be so nice to ask them to hop on the back of the mare behind her than for them to simply limp along on the ground behind my mounted elf. That said, the problem with the mounts as implemented is that they look silly to me - like a stretch limo. Two saddles? A longer back? No, any additional rider should simply hop on the back behind my elf with no special provisions or modifications to the horse.

TLDR: Not interested in this feature as implemented.

the only real problem i have with them is the price tag and the severe lack of variety (they still havent released the dwemer one yet, and i hate the normal beast mounts for other reasons that it not looking great)

I, too, would like to see a multi rider mount being earned ingame by, possibly, antiquities or a series of quests added in the vanilla overland zones.

I don't see a need for it, and it's nothing I would really consider.....but... at least it isn't a personal explosion, because someone decided to mount some animal.......

This one is not interested in the current offering, but if there’s a magical alfiq sled that’s multi-rider (ie alfiq is the sled driver and uses magic to command giant sweet rolls whilst Sammy and companion sits at the back), this one would have bought it yesterday.

I like the concept. It's nice being able to just do whatever the heck I want while my friend ferries me around (checking inventory, mail, anything) or just enjoying the scenery. However I do think the mounts are overpriced and the first horse they came out with is hideous and funky looking. Its legs are a little broken, I think.

I have no opinion about their implementation, I just have not seen one yet that to my eye did not look awkward or just goofy.

The two person horse mount looks wrong, the horse looks like it’s been stretched or it should be in pain from the weight.

Maybe implement a small two person carriage as a mount?

One thing I will point out that is kind of cool about them is that companions (at least the 2 newer ones) have unique dialogue when you get on a two person mount. Does it effect the value to me? Not really, but it's a nice touch.

I believe they're implemented well enough. Neutral opinion. Though there are a couple places where you can, amusingly (and surprisingly when it first happened), kill your passanger; by which I don't mean simply riding off a cliff.

Could do with more options for 3-12 passengers, though.

I just don't see the point in multi-rider mounts. I guess you could ferry around another player with a slower mount but it seems like a cumbersome thing to implement when they could just fix their flawed mount system in the first place.

What I don't understand is, they are clearly talented with creating gorgeous mounts, why did they safe up so much with these mounts? For the price they ask, they just look really bland and basic, is what I think, hehe.

I dont own one or ever been on one but I dont have any problem with them existing for roleplaying purposes or having fun with your mates etc. i dont like the horse, but if something catches my eye later on I may consider getting one.

I haven't tried them, so I'm not sure how they work, if you need to be grouped up, etc., but I think as a concept they are fun. Having said that, the design of the first one was kind of boring and too expensive. It would be great if they offered one as an in-game reward, and then create different skins for the CS.
