This is 2022 mate. Transmute stations are real. Noone, literally NOONE is farming items for their traits anymore.
Since we are talking about overland: after all that farming, your sticker album should be almost full. Buy the missing items from the guild stores (chose the most crappy trait because they tend to be cheaper) and reconstruct anything you want for 25 transmute crystals per piece.
And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too

thank you but assuming i dont have access to transmute stations or that no one is selling said set in traders.... i still havent gotten a darloc brae shield to drop for quite awhile and i need two of them...
although transmute stations are convenient for someone who has what they need already it could still take hours or even days of farming to get what i need so i can do literally anything else with comfort...0 -

I've got 7 chars who can run for 10 each day, but that's still a drop in the ocean of what I need for sets.
Perhaps, instead of this RNG potion, they could add the following to the crown store:
1. Transmute crystals at 1500 crowns for 150 transmute crystals. Expensive, but priced so people will still buy them (and it's not like it'd affect much except time - which is the purpose of the crown store. See skill line purchases for details.
2. A transmute stone that lets you transmute a single piece of gear to the appropriate trait, regardless of research. Priced at 150 crowns.
Sure there will be people who go 'NO NO NO NO NO NO NO I don't want to spend money and get upset if people take shortcuts that I either cannot or will not' but I rarely see those people complaining about the ability to buy skyshards or skill lines on the forums.1 -

i dont agree with adding them to the crown store but something you said gave me an idea
if you have to have researched a trait to transmute an item then i would agree that the cap for stones should be increased and they should be easier to farm as crafters could be paid to transmute gear for others that way...
i dont want to have to learn crafting on all of my characters as well
and yeah i think you can only transmute a piece of gear once,, big oof guess ill have to farm again next patch xDD0 -

You don't have a guild that has one? Or know someone who has one? If you are on PC-EU, you can use mine.
Also, I'm not talking about changing the trait... I'm talking about reconstructing the item (in case that wasn't obvious).
edit: There are 3 pages of Darloc Brae Shields on PC-EU and 3 pages on PC-US according to TTC. Can't believe that there are none on the console markets.
