I played with a 20-30 person "Every Weekend" guild from 2016 to recently, Now almost everyone has quit.
They quit because they game essentially ran them off.
Balance was "the roles" people played, not making every class exactly even. One day you wake up an that Perfected Maelstrom Inferno Staff you grinded away days for isn't just "nerfed" it's utterly useless.
Or you entire build "like anything in PvP meant to use a CC, Stun or what was a support type role has been eliminated by CC timers and a global speed boost"
I'm not exaggerating when I say I used to have 6 different Mag Dk's, all played differently, all viable AT THE SAME TIME.
I enjoy theory crafting, not copying the Meta.
If it can't go into PvP, with an original build that I created and kill someone (something I have ALWAYS been able to do for 6 years) I quit. I think I'm going to be quitting also

✭✭✭✭✭Judging by the yo yo changes in direction every three months (or weekly, on occasion), combined with the refusal to answer questions about the plan, there doesn’t actually seem to be one. If there was a plan, you would think they would be eager to share it.
People like to be informed, and dislike being ignored. Any successful business knows this. So it’s reasonable to formulate conclusions based upon the evidence. Where are we now? Week 7 or 8? As there is still nothing, there simply was no plan. No vision.

✭There's been a lot of plans, some written put but most (I assume) internal.
I recall one where ZoS wanted to flip what light and heavy attacks do; light for sustain heavy for damage, but that died quickly. There was one where whole numbers were the key to happiness and no skill duration or anything should have a decimal, that went for a couple of updates before they abandoned it. They did lots of tests for Cyrodiil; everything has a cooldown, no cross healing, no procs, etc...but in the end nothing really came out of that data and the devs just sort of moved on quietly never mentioning it again.
Maybe there's an explanation of the current plan forthcoming, but given the track record I dont have high hopes that its going to be well received. I think we're at a point where they need to plan how to plan.4 -

Keeper Cirion has sent me to undo the binding stones that prevent High Kinlord Rilis from materializing in this plane. However, Rilis has corrupted the other Keepers, who will no doubt stand in my way. The first stone is somewhere up ahead.
Objective: Deactivate the First Binding Stone
Keeper Cirion has sent me to undo the binding stones to bring High Kinlord Rilis into this plane of existence where he can be killed. However, Rilis has corrupted the other Keepers, who will no doubt stand in my way. The second stone is up ahead.
Objective: Deactivate the Second Binding Stone
Keeper Cirion has sent me to undo the binding stones that prevent High Kinlord Rilis from materializing in this plane. However, Rilis has corrupted the other Keepers, who will no doubt stand in my way. The third stone is up ahead.
Objective: Deactivate the Third Binding Stone
Keeper Cirion has sent me to undo the binding stones that prevent High Kinlord Rilis from materializing in this plane. I've undone three of the four stones, and should speak to Keeper Cirion.
Objective: Talk to Keeper Cirion
Keeper Cirion intends to trap the spirit of Rilis with his body, binding the High Kinlord to the mortal plane. Once done, Rilis can be killed once and for all. I need only to use the last binding stone.
Objective: Use the Final Binding Stone
Cirion has inserted himself as Rilis' host, binding Rilis to his mortal body. If Rilis is defeated, the High Kinlord will at last truly die.
Objective: Kill High Kinlord Rilis
High Kinlord Rilis has been defeated. I should check Keeper Cirion for signs of life.
Objective: Check Cirion for Signs of Life
Reward: Cirion's Last Stand

✭✭Honestly, I think the plan is merely that there are people receiving a paycheck and something needs to be shown for it.
Otherwise they would have told us the plan and eased our concerns and sometimes outright anger over U35.10 -

✭✭The only concrete plan they have is how to get you to pull our your credit card to buy more crowns...they probably hired psychologists to help with that goal too if ZoS is following current industry trends. They're just winging everything else judging by my experiences since beta. If there was a plan, U35 wouldn't have had different departments' goals "actively working against one another" as the devs posted here on the forums because proper project management and planning would have identified those issues.8 -

The main plan was to nerf LA and HA, then adds a lots of other nerfs people protested so they rolled back most of the LA nerds but keep the others, so nerfing templars who was an go to easy class to play.
Now U35 will be rolled back but fear that templar will face the fate with sorcerer as an unique play-style who was removed because of incompetent people who don't care. Need to do some changes so i can show I did something this month, yes change this, I say I used a month thinking about it.Grinding just make you go in circles.
