Scales of Justice?

Hello New and Longtime Players,

How do you feel about the major changes that occur every few months? What is your favorite class and do you believe it performs on an equal level with the other classes?

The general idea behind frequent meta changes seems to be, people won't stick around for long otherwise, and yet another strong opinion remains that having to constantly rework builds can be particularly tiresome. Personally, I think there are too few realistic options. The catchphrase "Pay How You Want" is not entirely accurate. For example, if I want to play a DragonKnight Healer I'll be seriously outmatched by any Templar heals. Should we be forced to play a specific class for a certain (mid-tier to endgame) performance level in a particular role? Meanwhile the majority of sets are considered mediocre and it can take time, sense, and or community discussions for players to realize what's good and what's not for your build goals especially when they're newer. So players will then select the strongest option available from a menu of much-disregarded junk. Maybe that kid down the street will be content throwing on whatever gear he or she earns overland during quest adventures or in an early base game dungeon but for higher-level content, if you're not pulling good enough numbers to burn bosses or keep your team alive, you'll often face criticism and rejection. For Player versus Player activities, it will probably feel bad as well if not worse because you'll go in with a hopeful heart only to be repeatedly trampled and maimed for not only lacking in skill and experience but being ill-equipped. Fortunately, there's plenty of information for optimistic adventurers and competitors when it comes to this stuff. The point here isn't specifically aimed at PvP of whether one knows how to build, it's whether the game is fairly balanced enough to support that honest (we hope) claim "Play As You Want."

On a side note: Hey ZOS? Why did you have to crush sorcerer's? They already seem to be underperforming at least in PvP. Literally, every other class is superior. It was only a niche style, Stamina Bow Sorcerer builds, with specific sets, that players were complaining about. Admittedly I love bow sorc and don't feel any of the changes to it were justified. Bound Armaments was already a weak damage skill. Now it's a wasted slot. And the light attack reductions will drastically hurt how such builds perform. Savage Werewolf was the problem, not the class itself. An opinion from a cat-loving PVP aspirant. Anyone agree?

Thank you

EDIt: I replaced the original post after suggesting skill changes that were based on a theory which was founded on perosnal confusion between two different skills
