Can I have my money back?

Well... Mac Pro Late 2013 with a 4k screen is not supported and I have to play on a Macbook Pro Retina 15" Late 2013, on which one instead of running at 2880x1800 the game runs at 1440x900 and there is no possibility to select the right dimension... At login I' m stuck due to a bug not yet resolved and I can' t even login to try if I like this game or not... Sincerely, I' d like to have my money back, and I' ll buy the game once it' s really ready to be played, that seems not right now. Is there a way?

Hi there. I'm playing on the same Macbook. Though I installed EOS on a Windows partition (because there are better drivers for the 750m). I right clicked the EOS icon, and under compatibility selected "Disable display scaling for high resolutions". Opening up EOS again, and my issue has been resolved.

Mac has a similar option. Right click the EOS icon > Get Info > Disable High DPI or something along those lines.

    Hope that helps.

Apple sucks, that is all. Buy a PC and dump the Macbook in the garbage where it belongs. :D

...video cards that can game with reasonable settings at 2880x1800 do not exist. You would need *at minimum* 3 780/780ti/Titan/Titan Black (R9-290/290x on the AMD side) class video cards to be able to even handle a game like ESO at high settings at that resolution. We are talking about $1500-$2000 JUST for video cards. Let alone if you want to play games like Crysis 3 at that resolution. Let's just say I know someone that has a 2k monitor, and 4 Titans in SLI, and they cannot run Crysis 3 at high settings, they have to drop it down to medium. If you do not have this at minimum, you would not be able to play at that resolution anyway unless you really like slideshows. You would be dipping down to single digit FPS in most situations.

Anyway, 2880x1800 is the exact same aspect ratio as 1680x1050. If you pick 1680x1050, since it is the same aspect ratio, you should be able to play with reasonable performance at that resolution, without any of the blurring/etc that comes from interpolation of different aspect ratios. As for 2880x1800, and hoping to play at that resolution on a Mac, good luck with that. My i7-4770k and 780ti would not be able to do it with any reasonable performance, with a single card.
