PS5 Forced to Character Select Screen and Progress Sent Back

I'm on PS5 and I don't know if its just a me thing but I've been sent back to the character screen several times and then when I get back in my progress was sent back a couple minutes. It's never happened before and so far its only occurred in the High Isle/Amenos area.

First I was in the Deadlands and got the Bloodshot Oculus so I went to High Isle and dug it up near the Serpent Bog but a minute or two later I was sent back to character select and I was put back to just after I got the lead.
The second time I had just finished doing the guild dailies to level Isobel so I went to do a High Isle world boss the Amenos Basonone, and when I got to the boss a lot of people were there waiting because it wouldn't respawn then after a few minutes of waiting again I got kicked back to the character select and when I logged back in I was back in Wayrest just after turning in the guild dailies.
The third and most recent time I had just finished the A Father's Pride quest and left to go do the Ghost Haven public dungeon but when I got there I got kicked back to the Character select and logged back in to just before I turned in the A Father's Pride quest.

It's just a theory but I think it may have something to do with the High Isle world bosses. There have been many issues with them not respawning and I was somewhat near a world boss every time I got sent to Character Select and in the second case where I was waiting at a world boss that wouldn't spawn after I got kicked and then back in the world boss had spawned ane I know it was the same instance because the same people who were waiting at it from before were there.

I got kicked while in the middle of digging up one of the Antiquities. When I logged back in the Eye wasn’t visible and I couldn’t find the dig spot again. Someone in zone chat suggested abandoning the lead, which freaked me out at first but I guess it just abandons the dig and keeps the lead to use the Eye again. There was horrendous lag and it didn’t work until I logged out and back in.

ps4 user here same bug last night, caused me to loose 10 minutes of game. Others in my guild have lost 30 minutes or more, including the guild leader loosing 30 motiffs for giveaways, some loosing quest progress, ps4 and ps5 users.

Same here ps5 eu
Several times during a ToT game and twice standing in a zone doing nothing. My friend also has had it happened twice during a card game.

Two of my friends also got stuck travelling to Deadlands on a load screen (Both separate occasions) had to force close app and couldn't log back on that character for a couple of hours. Not sure if there's any relation to the above

I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, think it's a rollback? I only lost a minute of gameplay thankfully

Had the same thing happen to me last night and the night before. I’m on PS4 but I got kicked 3 times. First time didn’t lose much maybe a minute. The next two were about 5 minutes. Had to turn in a couple of quests again. Nothing major but was worried I’d lose more next time.

I think this is an event bug. Two of the times I spoke with some NCP randomly in the Stonefalls and then in Craglorn about Zenithar before it happened. The third time I heard someone mention his name but didn’t talk to them and was kicked shortly after.

I LOST 25 MASTER WRITS ON HIGH ISLE
on PS5 when I (and the entire High Isle zone) got booted and reset.

I just had taken the master writs from a guild bank at the bank in Gonfalon.
After the reset, all writs taken from the guild bank were GONE from the bank AND my character.

At this reset, a friend of mine lost 30 mins of progress playing a Tales of Tribute game.
TO ME, THIS IS A GAME ENGINE FAILURE. Such things must not happen.

I also think these resets may happen because of bosses which are not spawning.
Receiving error reports, ZOS support probably pulls the plug of the entire zone to reset it.

Hmm I didn't even think about that but now that you mention it I don't think this started happening until the event started.

It literally started on day one of the patch. I saved video clips of different instances, and had posted one in the thread below, that's already referencing this bug.

NA PS4/PS5

Happened to me and my gf. She’s been redirected to character select several times and lost progress and loot. Happened to me 2 times but only lost progress in one of those, lost a lead and loot as well as about 20 minutes of game play. We don’t have the same ISP and don’t even live in the same area. So I know that isn’t the issue here. Also, it was happened before the event. Started when the High Isle Patch released.
