XBOX Series X NA Escape From Amenos, Unable to Continue Past "Speak with King Emeric Objective"

On Xbox Series X on NA server, I got to the part of the Escape from Amenos quest where I was prompted to speak to King Emeric in the quest objective. It was at the point in the quest after finding King Emeric, and he joins Caska and Ayrenn. Before this point, I had previously exhausted all talking point options with King Emeric, and once this quest objective came up, no further talking points were available with King Emeric to progress the quest. I am currently restarting Escape from Amenos to see if waiting to talk to King Emeric until after reuniting with Ayrenn and Caska makes any difference.
