I think it should reach 12% damage at 22% max magicka, since you never actually hit the 12% damage at 0%. Coral caps out at 33% stamina right?

I believe it is because stamina is used for other things, dodging/blocking. Typically mag is not.

Yea, I'm pretty sure they even said that when they first introduced the stam set concept.

(Edit: I just have to add, I really hate these sets anyway. In the current meta, stam/mag centric recovery races like Breton and Redguard are already weaker than straight bonus races like high elf, orc, dunmer, khajiit. We can say it's not enough to matter, but there is a reason build guilds and top players run what they run, it does matter enough. BUT with these sets, that's even more amplified. If you have good recovery bonuses, you are actually punished for it, so those races end up with even better buffs for their poorer resource management. Those sets should really be fundamentally changed IMO.)

As a stamina player, I’ve been using bahsei jewelry the past few months since it’s so incredibly easy to bring magicka down near zero, just cast a few magic skills. It takes little mental effort to drag it down if I notice it has gone back up

On the other hand I absolutely hate to see stamina drop low for any reason, far too often I need to have some reserved to keep alive, dodge, block, etc, while at the same time using it to deal damage. With Choral it’s like you’re worried if it’s too low and worried if it’s too high, too much to worry about. I’d rather just go with whorl when I finish the set

Coral is also drastically easier to use on a mag set-up bc unlike with mag, you can bash weave which is much easier than keeping your mag below a specific threshold as well as block, roll dodge, and using your stam DoT's.
