Can we get a timeframe for the server hardware upgrade for EU?

The server hardware upgrade for the NA server is already complete. I would like to know where can we go with our expectations here in the EU? Is it already in progress, is it it scheduled, something like that? Will it take months, or years? As in any bigger project there will be a timeline and i would like you to keep us informed and updatet where we stand in this endeavor.

AFAIK, they are having supply chain issues with hardware for EU (and maybe consoles, though I'm not sure about that).

I heard of that and thats what they communicate but a timeframe would be nice imo and in my case needed. Like we hope to get this part in sept. or oktober or something and from that we expect to continue on the x.x. and so on.
So i and others can adjust to that.

I'm working in a hardware company for professionals and I can tell that there is no hardware supply chain issues in Europe.

It might have been slower for some weeks during april, but still delivering very efficiently.

This might be copium, but ZOS announced the weekly battleground events for update 35, so the next update, which was likely delayed due to the server hardware delay. That they have announced it now sounds like they expect to be done with the EU PC hardware upgrade refresh around the same time.

Of course all of that is pure speculation and there has been nothing officially announced as there might be more delays because some of the hardware could be defect or something. But based on that, my guess is at some point within the next three months.

This is correct. Being it is a supply chain issue the timeline is based on things outside of the control Zenimax has. So they are not able to set a timeline.

The best they can do is say when they hope it will be done but that will be used against them if the necessary parts do not come in before then. As such it is best for Zenimax to avoid such pitfalls.

This is why the automotive industry has had challenges obtaining chips. This is a well-known issue and is a supply chain issue. IDK, maybe the companies favor EU over USA.

Chip shortage heavily affects the types of parts Zenimax needs to upgrade the hardware.

Why are they not able? Any deliverer will give you an estimate and will not say we dont know anything. From that you can communicate. It is fine if it is communicated like when all goes as estimated ... Thats a timeframe. I mean thats how it goes in business. When someone answers to a customer, i dont know anything, he will be out of customers soon.

i was thinking if i should write renewal or refresh but a refresh to a 2014 hardware implicates an upgrade. Would you agree?
