A Couple Quality of Life Suggestions

Please consider removing the hidden penalty timer that prevents mounting after having failed to be able to mount, usually due to either jogging and happening to be imperceptibly off the ground due to a slight difference in elevation and simultaneously hitting the mount key, or walking under an unexpected invalid mounting ceiling and simultaneously hitting the mount key. It’s annoying, it happens all the time to me, at least, and I cannot think of a reason for it to exist. While I am on the subject of jogging and catching air, please retune the character and mounted movement to maintain better conformance to the terrain to avoid often catching slight air while going down gentle slopes, which prevents jumping to avoid hazards at critical times, or being launched unpredictability when going over small bumps on the terrain, most notoriously, on the docks at Vivec near the writ turn in area, but pretty much everywhere. This makes the physics feel far too floaty, as real walking creatures do not move like suspension-less wheeled carts. I suggest adding or retuning an existing vertical elevation damping value that compensates for small terrain differences within a certain range to keep characters attached to the ground when walking over light to moderately bumpy terrain.
