Tales of Tribute quest question

Do you have to do the full tutorial quest on each character you want to play the game on? Or is there some way to skip it. I'd like it on all my characters so can play with friends regardless of which character I am on, but I don't think I can bring myself to do the tutorial 18 times.

Currently, each character must do the tutorial to have access to the decks

Agreed. Even though I was not initially excited about it, I found it surprisingly fun to play. But this will definitely lessen my desire to play the game.
