Trying to fill Vicious Death sticker book—not going well

I just spent 1.6m AP for 80 weapon boxes, aiming for Vicious Death, as this is the only way to obtain this gear (as far as I know) outside of buying them from players. I received 13 VD weapons, only 5 of which contributed to my stickerbook. The rest were weapons from the FIVE other sets in this box. I’m not impressed. Needlessly difficult. Please fix.

if im aiming for a specific set, i usually buy the box for that specific set, however you have to buy those from the town vendors (special equipment vendor) instead of the vendor at the home base that has the more generic boxes with multiple sets

im not in game right now and dont remember offhand which town these come from

Yeah, I went through guild traders buying everything I could find for about 3k or less when sticker book first dropped. It filled a lot of sets, and this was one of them. Guild Traders are your answer. Bit of a hassle maybe, but it will be cheap.

Hate to say it, but you easily could have sold 1.6 million AP worth of spell pots, bought what you needed from traders, and still had enough pots left over to prog the new trial. LOL.

That first day after stickerbook release, I think I filled like 2/3rds of my sticker book for overland and PVP sets for like 1K gold per piece average.

I was same boat for the most part. I ended up filling most overland and most of PVP that way. At first my limit was 1k, then I bumped it up a bit for weapons and jewelry. Once I got down to a handful of pieces in each zone, I just did a few laps of world bosses to finish them out. Easy Peasy. Still need some PVP sets, but admittedly, my motivation for this has waned

i look for deals on pvp sets, but usually only when i feel like it, i earned like 99% of the overland gear purely by farming it myself since i was missing weapons i just camped public dungeon bosses

i usually go on "shopping sprees" like once every couple of weeks and try to buy all sorts of things that im missing collectible wise (motifs, outfit pages, furnishing blueprints, gear) that is within a reasonable price range

On PS NA, weapons are selling for a ridiculous price. Waist alone it going for 100kish. Otherwise, I would just buy them.
