Wildhorn's Wrath (High Isle Daily) Quest Bug

There is a bug where you cant pick up ALL the Signet Rings for the quest. Your character still does the animation where it bows down and tries to pick it up, but you cant actually loot anything or get the quest progression. Myself and 2 other group members had the same problem, we tried to relog, reloadui and abandon the quest etc, nothing worked.

my understanding is many of the interactive objects for the quests are bugged while in a group

ive been mostly doing the WB quests solo and never had one bug out on me yet

I ran into this a couple of days ago. The one thing I found that worked was to talk to the optional hunter in town before going to the boss and picking up the items before starting the fight. I tested this twice and it worked both times.

what works for me is this: pick up the rings 1 2 3. they're numbered, which you can see if you're a bit further back from them. you can see in the ui compass, ring 1, ring 2, ring 3. if you pick them up in that exact order, it should work. if you mess up, you can abandon the quest and get someone to reshare it. and i think being in a group bugs it out too. it's really a mess, they should fix it

They already know, we've been bug reporting that for a bit now.

The current workaround is just to drop group before anyone picks up the rings, and then you can regroup afterwards.
