You probably clicked the cross in the top right corner of the banner that disappears it...

So I accidentally closed it and now there's no apparent way to get it back? LOL

Happened to me before by accidentally hitting the X too. I eventually did get it back but I can't quite remember how. Perhaps if you log out and log back in?
