proprio.meb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭That was normal in naval warfare, they just passed from printed tables to mechanical devices and then computers (but you cannot yet call a computer what was used in 1916, when the Jutland battle took place).
Balistic of cannons is something that was being studied since centuries earlier, as for great circle route and taking in account earth curvature, it was studied for sailing since after Columbus (and even a little earlier).

drsalvation✭✭✭✭✭I think it would make more sense to fill up the sink, and then remove the lid, let water go down naturally. Most toilets have curved sprinklers that would make the water swirl for maximum self-cleaning purposes.
(PS. Never thought I'd be discussing toilets on an ESO forum, but this never ceases to amaze me lol)1
