Active Spaulder of ruin takes up to 20 fps

In my house spaulder of ruin while active will take 20 fps sometimes.
I was sitting in small under decorated house. My fps was 83 which wasn't normal. I was confused then noticed...set was active. I turned it off...and fps went to 104..did the same thing a few times and eventually it was only 10 fps lost in house on average
The set only drops 2 fps in craglorn while another person was using it too.
The set drops 5 fps in dungeons
I don't think the drop of 20 fps is normal so here's my report.
