I just got the Soul Shriven Skin from the Endeavour Store, mainly because it looked great the way the preview of it showed it on my unclothed (well, in underwear actually) character. Not being familiar with skins, this being the first one I actually tried out, I didn't think too hard and just figured that it would work like the polymorph, ie. wysiwyg. So I was a little disappointed to find that the only way to actually see the entire skin in game is to unequip all of my armour. Not really a viable proposition unless I want to go to the trouble of undressing every time I'm around town and then redressing for quests etc. An "undressed" costume would be a nice fix for this. Am I the only one who'd like to see such an option?

Edit: I totally forgot about the battle bra, Scorianite Gladiator

There are plenty of costumes and motifs in various states of skimpiness. There are surely specific variations or styles that aren't there, but there definitely many options beyond unequipping your armor.

Some are crown store, some are earnable, some are tied to motifs. Nordic Bather's Bath Towel is probably the cheapest way to achieve something very close to unequipping all your armor, it's a tradable runebox that should go for a few thousands on guild traders.

I don't see the appeal of skimpy clothing. It's not a look my characters want to portray.

So then don't use it. lol For those of us that would like some, it would be nice to have the option. And personally, I think it's be GREAT to have more options in clothing period. why can't we get more styles that give normal clothing options, skimpy or otherwise? Not everything needs to be battle-ready for looks, and some of the costume combos are just ultra disappointing in their lack of dye options.

Normal clothing is limited to pieces of non-armor we can thieve but then are stuck with how it looks color-wise and sacrifice armor to wear. or costumes. It would be nice to see the outfit styles start branching out. Including an "underwear" option lol.

Since people have brought up this feedback, we've gotten a lot of new skin-showing motifs and outfit styles in the past year or two. Keep hunting!

I would ditto Nordic Bather's Towel. It should be cheap at traders

I don't see the appeal of skimpy clothing. It's not a look my characters want to portray.

Well, not everyone has the same preferences. Luckily, we have dozens of motifs & costumes to pick between. Plenty of room to have a wide variety.

(personally, I grew up with the silly cover artwork of the 60s/70s/80s fantasy novels, D&D books, and Heavy Metal magazine. Boris Vallejo, Keith Parkinson, Larry Elmore, Luis Royo, Christos Achilleos, Nene Thomas, Rowena Morrill, and many others... Barbarians & sorceresses in utterly impractical "armor" is Fantasy to me. :D )

We definitely don't need more skin IMO. This isn't Conan Exiles. There are a number of skimpy looks already in the game. Any further and you'd be (half) naked.

There's a fair amount of skimpy clothing, but you have to be around for a few years to collect it all. Most of it comes back once a year during monthly crown store rotations or via events.

They're not swtor bikini's though no. There are 2-3 boob tubes and one costume that achieve the effect.

We need more choices of all varying styles .. too many motifs just seem variations upon similar ones. We need more options for skimpier wearing without metallic collars or weird metal arm bands etc

I cannot see how anyone could complain about more choice, if you prefer another look then you choose something else!

I feel that too much skin, such as with the Holiday in Balmora costume's huge cutout at the chest, just make a character look cheap.

I'd love to see some tastefully-designed revealing armour. Not being a fan of metal bras myself (don't even want to imagine how uncomfortable they'd be), I think more varieties of leather/cloth chests would be great, preferably without bones or other animal parts. The Wood Elf jack is great, for example.

I just personally prefer games with a more covered combat aesthetic in terms of skimpy armor because it makes it feel more warrior oriented and less pandering to the consumer. I think ESO strikes a good mix balance having some skimpy offerings without it feeling like it's pandering to the player's idea of sexy. When they have either too many skimpy offerings or the skimpy offerings are on the extreme end, it tends to kinda ruin that aesthetic.

My issue with lack of skin is that we have more than a few skins as rewards. Most Costumes cover the skins. No armor shows the skins but, well, no armor. I’ve been using that Nord bathing suit ugly thing to show skins like dead lands firewalker and the dragon scales one.

There is actually some skimpy armor specifically designed to show off, and some costumes.

Me too I like to show skin and wear "light" clothes, without gloves, hats, shoulders. However, I agree with what has been said by many before me: the game already has enough content to satisfy all possible tastes. The more the better of course, but we have already plenty of choices. <3

I use the costume Sand-Kissed Salwar, that I like very much, because I couldn't work out a combo of armor pieces I like (and also we can't hide shoulders).
I tried other costumes, but always came back to that one and now I just keep it.

After a long dry period it would seem that they are slowly introducing a steady drip of more revealing cosmetics.

However the vast majority of them are 'returning/releasing for a very limited time', and only if you have the coin.

This might cause players to perceive the 'artificial scarcity' as 'absence'.

There is also the fact that 'please wear something more revealing' is outside very specific contexts wholly unacceptable to tell someone, where 'your clothes are too revealing, please cover yourself' is not only much more acceptable, is an integral part of many cultures and beliefs.

This is a conundrum that ZOS is unlikely to want or be able to resolve, so I for one gladly take what is offered.

I have already voiced a desire to have those clothing pieces "learnable" (stickered so can be used in outfit system) about a year ago. Guess we need a MUCH more vocal push on that...

I would like there to be an option to hide any clothing slot, even if this costs gold to apply in an outfit station rather than being a collectible like Hide Hat. Sometimes I want a slender assassin or mage type look and don't want ugly shoulder plates, or I really like the sleeves of my Chest slot but don't want hands covered, or I want to show off a skin or go for a Sai Sahan look without actually owning the Sai Sahan Jack style. Sometimes Girdles get in the way of this too and just look out of place.
