Update older content?(Twice born)

Looking at the new braid set, and even trainee set I once again found myself a bit glum about a NINE trait crafted set that was once one of my favorites, Twice born. For quite awhile now it has just seemed subpar(various reasons. Mundus nerfs, the way some stats become important, then get nerfed like crit. New sets that are just better, etc) I REALLY think Zos should look at this set and make some improvements (like thrice star? Add some dmg to it? Anything?) Especially as it's a 9 trait. Even the new braid set is only 7.

It made me curious about what particular thorn-in-the-paw you guys have carried over the years and how could it be corrected. I'm not talking about FIX ALL PVP type stuff, just minor little things that you feel should be just a BIT better. And stay positive! Small changes happen!

The only way they can improve it is by making a sister set that does similar to Heartland Conqueror that would double your base Mundus Stone bonus. Then you would get pigeon-holed into using both sets together to get the most out of it.

Me personally? I'd make it OP like add a leech to it. Or perhaps make it nitch like the aoe taunt some were discussing awhile back.

A simple fix I've heard often is thrice born. Or adding some damage to it. Ive even heard doubling the stats.

I'm not sure where zos is going on their new sets so couldn't say exactly but it's getting left in the dust stat wise in my opinion for a 9 trait set.

The problem is that there are just too many sets. Some of them will be trash or unimpressive. But a set that requires this much skill for crafting should absolutely be impressive. This shows how little crafting matters in this game. Crafted sets are always mediocre good meaning they are fine options for newer beginner players but never would you wear them as one of the best. They are a set good enough if you don't want the best. And at that, there are only a few of them. And usually they get changed or nerfed pretty fast if they are.

I agree. It would be nice to have it updated to today's game. I used it long ago. It was one of the first crafted sets I made when I finally got my first Crafter at nine traits. I still have a few sets of it around but haven't used it in many years since it was nerfed (well, the game around it was nerfed but those that were here know what I mean).

I would like to see something added to it as well for the 5 item bonus. Look at other sets that have had an additional value added to their final piece over the years. There are several including some Monster sets that were adjusted.

With all the new sets added constantly to the game it would be nice to adjust the older sets as well to bring some life back into these older sets. Having a look through the original crafted sets I've only used three or four of them over 8 years. Most are just "meh" to me and can easily be surpassed by overland dropped sets.

Anyway, it would be nice to see some adjustments to the older crafted sets.
