First time playing enhanced version today, really awesome until I took a toon to Cyrodiil.
Got into a siege battle at a keep, then went to a resource to flip. Did no combat whatsoever, the flag was already flipping and returned to the keep. Before I got there, combat music was playing, spent the next 10 minutes searching around the keep for fighting but there was none. Then went to another keep and the battle music continued for about 10 minutes. By the time it finally stopped I was in another battle at another keep. Using the Transitus Shrine to travel the next time did not make it stop. I even left Cyrodiil and the battle music kept playing in Riften for several more minutes.
I never had anything like this happen with PS4 version on PS5. I don’t want to turn off the battle music, I like it and it’s extremely useful to have it so you know when you are in danger.
I did many dailies on multiple toons in PvE before this and the battle music stopped like it should. I have no idea why it doesn’t shut off properly in Cyrodiil or why it would only be the PS5 version. It’s hard to play effectively with constant battle music, though.
I have fidelity selected instead of performance though I doubt that has any bearing on the behavior.
I submitted an in-game ticket and here is the number for reference. Please fix this.
