Are the worm motifs from this box supposed to be bound? I opened 3 and it looks like they came out of the box that way.

Yes they are supposed to be bound

recommendation: do not open the grab bag on anything other than your toon that has learned the event motif since motifs are counted as stuff "your toon does not know"

honestly the grab bag should have some kind of preview of what it possibly could drop, outside of the only case where it is like "you already have all of the collectibles from this"

They did put down what drops from the grab bag in the news post. So if you need to know what you need, just look at your motif list for the worm one. Or the outfit list for the others.

They did put down what drops from the grab bag in the news post. So if you need to know what you need, just look at your motif list for the worm one. Or the outfit list for the others.

i was more suggesting in game

we already have the ability to look at the list of everything that drops in a crown crate, or what is part of a bundle on the crown store, so why couldnt that be applied for this?

just for reference ANY item that is bought with tickets is bound (unsellable)

i know i made the mistake with the grab bags one year they introduced them, and bought 1 on an alt toon and got a motif i definitely didnt need, so i just had to eat it with that toon

I think (almost) all of the items in the bag cost 5 tickets when they were previously available, and the bags only cost 2 tickets. If that's not a bargain, I don't know what is.

That said, I really don't like having non-account-wide items in the bag. It's not really a problem for me this year because I didn't have any of the worm cult motif pages from previous years, but if the bags still have them next year I'll have to be really careful about which character I buy them on (especially because I've been using this year's event to level an alt).

Not sure. My main can't get any bag because he already has all the pages, but the two bags I opened on an alt had regular, not bound, pages. They even had price tags and graphics and all from the merchant addons, so it stands to reason they're exactly the same type of pages that used to drop from the boxes.

No, they were bound. They had price tags and graphics from merchant addons because those addons don't care about bound status. Same thing happens if you craft some gear or pick up overland gear and bind it, even after it's bound it still has a price info. It'll say bound in the upper right corner of the item window. Or you can try putting them in a guild bank or selling them and you'll confirm that they are bound.

TTC apparently is not used to seeing bound motifs. I nearly spewed my coffee when I got the Worm legs and the tooltip told me it was worth something north of 150K... and then I noticed the "bound"

It saved me over 1 Million gold in Worm Cult Motif pages since those were the only things I hadn't gotten completely. Seems like a deal.

The Style pages do. The motifs don't.
