Do you get any achievements for creating a character or almost finishing the tutorial?

I haven't logged in ever since the new update, so while I'm deciding what to do about AwA, I'd like to login with a new character to collect the login bonuses. But since I don't want to spend time making a new char, if I have one that has almost finished the entire tutorial, would I get any achievements from it, or is the first one you get for finishing the Blackwood tutorial? And there are no others you can get (ie. Thieves' Trove) etc in there, if you play normally?

Since I don't see the edit cogwheel, I'll just add that I know you get achievements for harvesting runes but I'm not sure if there are any in the new tutorial, so I'm checking to make sure.

If you're not sure, I would try making a character on EU and see if there's any tutorial achievement, or check UESP. Careful tho, some of the daily rewards could give you achievements, like for collecting AP or whatnot.

And for some completely unwarranted advice, I wouldn't worry so much about the name attached to your achievements. I don't even notice it for mine, even when I go to check which achievements I have. It sounds like a number of people are unhappy or paralyzed not being able to let go of this achievement thing instead of enjoying the gameplay.

In any case, good luck figuring it out for your account.

Thanks! I actually care about the stuff because it broke some quest and dialogue replayability (I'm the one who made the Blackwood replaybility thread), so for the time being I'm trying to avoid logging in with any of my main characters.

EU and US use same game code. Just select US on login screen and you are good to go.

You have to refresh the page to get the edit button.

The tutorial doesn't have any achievements. Only achievements you get are if you allocate any CP points at the start.

The cog will show up in the OP Title, at top of page, not next to your name like in giving response.

@Adventurer, also remember not to loot any urns or you might get enough decorative wax for that achievement.

Try it on PTS, it's EU right now so you don't waste a char slot and you will get your answer for free. Then you will know for sure for live. Nevermind, your are EU live, and PTS is EU, otherwise if it was NA you could still do this. I did make a char to log in with but didn't do the tutorial as I don't intend to keep her when or if I come back to actually plaster my other characters' achievements to my account.

They could still do it on one PTS either way, it doesn't matter what region it's set to. The only difference is if it's EU it would have carried over their account data, which would work better since it would have copied that character that was partway through a tutorial. If they had to play on NA none of their EU characters would be there and they'd have had to make a new character.

IDK the answer to your question. But, to see the Edit button you have to refresh the web page for it to be available.

I'm fairly certain there are no achievements for completing the tutorial.

There definitely wasn't before Blackwood, there's no record of whether a character did a tutorial or which one it was. I used that to try to convince myself it didn't matter that my warden started in Morrowind and I could just pretend she did the Greymoor tutorial (which was a much better fit for her). It didn't work, so I ended up deleting her and restarting to do the Greymoor tutorial. There still wasn't an achievement for it but I feel better knowing what she did in the game matches her backstory.

I've done the Blackwood tutorial a couple of times and don't remember any achievement for it, which makes sense since none of the previous ones had an achievement.

Balfira might have one because it's the newest and last one (I still wish we had the option to use the other old ones, that would have been so cool. Greymoor one was definitely one of the best, seconded by Elsweyr. Some might simply want to start right in Coldharbor. Why do we have to go into a magic library now for all time? Just let us pick our tutorials.

Yeah, I'd love if you could pick any tutorial you wanted. I really wanted to try the Greymoor one.
