About the Keptu Chief style

So the new crown crate season comes with a new crate based armor motif, the Keptu Chief. It is an interesting style that I managed to get the helm from in one of the crates I got and in case anyone was wondering, it suffers from the same 'unable to dye' problem many other styles have. It only has 2 dye channels, so it should be easy enough to assign the unused one to the metal mask, but apparently not? Just wanted to mention it here in case anyone was curious or wanted to add anything else. Just odd that so many styles are hindered by either this or the dye channel going to something pointless, while major pieces of whatever they're on remain a fixed color.

My characters don't usually wear helmets, so the dye channel issue isn't a big deal for me, but I can understand the frustration,the helmet looks out of place. What I found puzzling was there wasn't a waist/belt for this outfit. I kept looking at it in the crown store and there are only six pieces instead of seven. I love the outfit and got it with gems,but scratching my head over the belt missing.Not a deal breaker tho.☺

Does it also suffer from front flap clipping into pants skirt thing?

Checking into it, and the front flap is a part of the legs, not the chest. The plates on the side don't seem like they'll float on light or medium legs, but will likely clip with the heavier ones. And thanks for pointing out the lack of belt Dithieon, didn't notice it myself.

ESO tend to favor customization and gives the power to the players. "Play how you want" etc.
But for some reason I don't understand many items got pre-stock colors attached to them, which you can't change...

There's a few sets and costumes I would love to be fully color customizable!

Yeah, they mess up good styles by not taking care of small details like these.

Some styles are useless because of this bs, for example the Dragonguard Cuirass is one of the coolest heavy armor chests imo but the undyable giant badges make it unusable for me unfortunately.

Yeah the belt thing is odd to me, I was wearing Sunspire heavy when I got the outfit so I left the belt 'buckle' on and dyed it Telvanni brown and that satisfied my OCD

I get a major chuckle out of some of these styles ... most are wretchedly ugly, look like they were made from mud in the bottom of a barrel, and they're so often ridiculously impractical. I mean imagine wearing that helmet and how poor your vision would be. It's like the husk Scout wore in To Kill a Mockingbird -- blind as bat. But each to their own, I guess.
