Are you sure you had not logged into a different character that received crafting matts but did not open the mail and then logged into the alt?

I would prefer this to not getting the emails at all and having to wait until I log into the crafting character again.
I have never gotten "bonus" emails giving me mats I should have never received. It is always emails I should have received on another character but got stuck in the mail queue or some other kind of lag or delay.
Kinda, mail comes to whoever it is addressed. If mail is addressed to your account, it pops no matter who logs in, if it is addressed to a character it only pops when that character logs in. Hireling mails come to your character. Cyro campaign rewards are another example of character addressed mail.Grizzbeorn wrote: »Mail doesn't actually come to your individual characters, it comes to your account.
Are you sure it all loaded? I check hirelings regularly, and since this last patch in particular I've had issues where only 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 of the 5 mails show, even though they all arrive on the backend. The rest show when I switch zones, but if I log out instead then they show when I log into the next character. Sometimes it shows a "mail is full" message even if my mail is not full, but sometimes it shows no indication of the invisible mail.I did wait for the mail to load on my alt since there seems to be an issue with mail loading correctly. And it was collected.
I don't know what is going on. I will check in later today and see if it gets more mats.
