Dev Appreciation Post

I started ESO during the Beta and was hooked, waited until console release and have played this game every year since I believe. Some breaks here and there but always come back at some point. Just recently restarted on PC, in my opinion I feel ESO is a truly unique MMO. Keep it up!

P.S. Whoever came up with the gloambound weapon idea deserves a raise

Gloambound ? The armor motif set that's 2500 crowns? Lol.
Ya il say it's one of their better armor styles.
You can thank the artist behind it. But they don't ever tell us who made it. It's all secretive and weird. Prolly some random sub contractor dude that had no idea he was making it for this game.

I actually had a genuine moment of impress when while looking at those weapons I saw the note about how they disappear when sheathed. That just adds so much to the immersion of them being conjured weapons.

You do know nearly every other MMO/game doesn't release a list of the artists involved?

I absolutely adore these weapons and hope they release more in the future, maybe with different elements. I would love to be able to have my DK spawn in a staff made of pure fire, or my templar make a shield of out light energy.

So the best thing people can think of lately for this game are invisible weapons with purple effects which activate (like any other monster weapons) when you unsheathe them. Meaning our expectations are now so low that all ZOS needs to do to be praised and get Dev appreciation posts is make a $25 item invisible weapon pack.

Genuinely seeing more hype for these weapons than the chapter....

True I should elaborate lol. There is quite literally zero hype for this new chapter whether it’s the forums, discord, ingame, I have not seen anyone care. This is in stark contrast to every chapter before Blackwood which was also poorly received. FYI I loved every chapter before Greymoor.

I believe we will see some hype for the new trial when it’s on PTS but not much else.

Also unfortunately after the account wide achievements situation, I am not anywhere close to giving ZOS praise

I can't show appreciation to a team that constantly let's their community down, no communication "one official statement on what they're not doing doesn't count" no honesty, not a care for their community.

If the team would update the community and communicate with us about the mass amount of bugs and had the heart to be honest and realistic with their responses, I could maybe muster up some appreciation.
