At some point it would be really nice if ZOS spent some development time on fixing the bugs in trials that have been present for donkeys years.
Especially bad is the problems with Cloudrest - as the title states this trial has been out for nearly four years now, and yet basic mechanics still don't reliably work.
Synergy to drop frost sometimes breaks and the player cannot activate it, so they die and there is nothing they can do about it.
Synergy to jump into the safe area in the shadow realm breaks very often. This can normally be worked around if the player dodge rolls which seems to "reset" their synergies, but if you are on +3 when there is only one jump available you sometimes just don't have time to do that.
Every time I am in the portal I am constantly thinking to myself "please don't glitch again" - is this normal?
I am currently in a Gryphon Heart progression group and in one raid last week about 75% of our fails were due to bugs. I am not even exaggerating. I know there is no money in it for you to fix these trials, but it would be really nice if you at least appeared to care about end-game raiders, most of us have been around in ESO for 5, 6, 7 or 8 years. Instead of making a new trial to sell the chapter to us along with an OP trial set or two and then abandoning the trial with any remaining bugs that it has at the end of the patch cycle that it belongs to.
I KNOW these issues are getting reported over and over again, yet there is no communication or fixes in the pipeline - why is this the case?
