"1 second" login queue that never ends?

I've seen this a lot in the past few days.
(1) Login and get put into a login queue that is estimated at "1 sec".
(2) Wait....and wait.....and wait some more (10 minutes).
(3) Give up and click [cancel].
(4) Login a second time.
Now it all goes smoothly straight into the character select screen.

Others have reported that, yes. I haven't experienced it myself. Once you see the queue, just cancel and restart according to others.

"Leave Queue" and re-log. You'll get in.

I've gotten it too, like others said, if you back out and try to re-log it should let you in

I just leave when it gets stuck. There's real queues though. I once had a 26 sec one and timer did move.
