Blackwood's OST came out around a month after the chapter went live, expect the same timeframe for that as well.

I concur that the music is great. And I'm loving the whole return to a medieval fantasy feel instead of fugly ashlands, steampunk and dead volcanolands.

When I first heard, it was great. Also, I swear they took a bit of inspiration from "He's a pirate" song cause I just hear that beat a little bit in it.

I felt the same way. To me it seems to be a cross between the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Elder Scrolls theme songs.
    edit
More specifically, it feels like the Elder Scrolls version Jack Sparrow is getting ready to pull one of his crazy stunts before going on some epic adventure.

About the only thing I'm not all that impressed with is the "main TES theme" done in pizzicato strings.... I'll just have to keep Oblivion and Skyrim handy so I can hear those versions again.

Violins, violas plucked like lighthearted dance music.... kinda not my fav thing for the Elder Scrolls main music - especially when I listen to the theme in Oblivion and Skyrim.

It's okay. It sounds like one of those fake pirates of the Caribbean B movie rip offs I would see on Tubi Tv or other streaming app that is free with lots of ads

Listening to it while I download the patch. It's a banger. I've always said that the Oblivion theme reminded me of Pirates of the Caribbean, but now I guess ESO takes the cake for this years theme.

*Edit* Apparently my music was turned off and I didn't realize it. I don't remember turning it off. Not sure how that happened. LOL. Never mind.

It's better than blackwood and sounds good but... I miss this. The original theme will always have a special place in my heart, wish there was an option to go back to it.

Sounds a bit too pirate/sailor-y for Bretons with magic, knights and stuff imo.

Totally agree. I get goosebumps everytime I hear this wonderful theme. It's a mark in my heart for the good times back in launch

In regards to the new theme I must say that it hits right in the feels with the new awesome High Isle character screen. So much Breton awesomeness

Well, I haven't watched those for years, so at this point I'm not sure. I really like the music, minus the pizzicato strings for the main TES theme.

Jeremy Soule is unmatched in melody, atmosphere and emotion. I hope they bring him back for ES6. Elder Scrolls games aren’t the same without him.

I miss the previous intro music. :'(

I like it. It's a welcome relief to the overwhelming brasses of the previous years' DLCs like Blackwood, or Summerset to a lesser extent. I like the pizzicato part too. I have nothing against plucked strings, whether it's a violin, guitar/lute or harp.

There's a part that does sound like the Pirates theme; it made me laugh when I first heard it, but I'm not sure it feels entirely appropriate to an Elder Scrolls game. It's very jaunty and swashbuckling.
