Shoulders are the main one I'd like to hide. On most of my characters the vast majority of options look very oversized and/or end up floating above their shoulders. The vast majority of the time "choosing" shoulders means looking for the smallest/flattest option which doesn't otherwise look out of place with the rest of the outfit. It's very rare that I actually get to pick one which looks good instead of simply tolerable so being able to hide them would be a big improvement for me.
It would be nice to have the option to hide other armour pieces too (or parts of them, like tassets which only really make sense with a breastplate and certain leg armour) but hiding shoulders is my first priority.

A: You can already do that, especially in non combat areas by just unequipping your gear.
B: My immersion is broken by the sheer number of flappy pets in my face constantly. A few loincloth wearing characters aren't even a blip on my radar at that point.
C: You give me skins, body markings and tattoos that I can't realistically see through normal gameplay. A feature to hide any gear piece will make those cosmetics more useful.

Oh yeah this would be an amazing alternative as well! Like I said in an earlier post in this thread, the reason why Hide Shoulders (or other pieces) isn't live yet is probably because of some unresolved issue. So maybe creating an invisible motif would be a great workaround.barney2525 wrote: »SWTOR has armor specifically for this purpose. It does Not hide another piece of armor. It Is armor in and of itself. It is simply invisible. So, there isn't any bizarre " heavy metal chest piece that no one can see ". In this game, in order to apply this to Sets, it would need to be a Motif.
