Char/account region's transfert: planned or not? any Estimate? ZOS' communication needed!

Hi,

As we moved from Europe to Canada (and a lot of people will also soon) I would like to know if one character or maybe all accounts can be transferred from PC EU to PC NA. this is not a platform migration, just a region's one PC to PC.
Because of lag playing from Quebec to EU and mostly because ESO is empty during my play time obviously. So this is either a new start in NA or we stop ESO basically.

As far as I know this is not yet possible, but with all current account wide work and other stuff going on I wonder if this is on the roadmap anytime soon? Cause I'm thinking about starting over in NA but I really don't want to do that grind AGAIN (playing since beta in EU and having A LOT of stuff) and realized in 6 months that I can now transfer my account!!!

So does Gina or staff member @ZOS_GinaBruno can at least give us an idea if this region's transfert is a possibility/on the map or not at all for now?

Even if they want to somehow verify that players have actually moved regions IRL, and only allow those people to transfer, they should allow region transfers. Latency has too much of an impact not to make concessions.

They have always said that they don't have the ability to transfer characters onto a populated database. The only time transfers were made in the past was when PC players could transfer to console as that was copying characters to an empty database. That is also why NA and EU players are copied separately to the PTS with the server being wiped each time. I don't see how the achievement changes will alter that, nor is the genuine relocation of a player going to alter it. However, if you can get an official response then all the better.

This is my understanding too, but there is option around it like create a new char in NA and give it the equivalent that you have in EU, and then delete it in EU etc... just to be sure that I dont waste months of time if there is a possibility.

So anyway, I think things align for a fresh newbie start in NA!!!

So to give you a practical exemple same cyro campagin I'm today in NA/EU:
EU: between 137-270ms ping with spike at 340 around keep and with zerg, basically I can even not fire a single skill
NA: 80-110 with 150 spike. Not perfect for sure, but at least I can play ieven if I feel from time to time the lag, so that's a completly diffrent expérience for me now.

@ZOS_GinaBruno please can we have at least a way to send email from EU to NA? that can really help to start again while sending mat and gold! at least having some benefit of playing since 2014

Maybe a one time tranfert item/gold package can be allowed? like you create in NA and delete it in EU?

Don't worry, I started from an old Ps4 with basically everything to a fresh PC and even if it seems daunting it's pretty fast to progress for veterans because we know what to do and how to get what we want from the start. The only annoying things was to rebuy the merchant&banker and researching since it's so time gated. But the performance improvements definitely made up for it, just as I can imagine it will for you as well lag wise. Plus it was quite fun to start over with 0 cp and 0 of everything, just because I had forgotten how it was not being max lol
