Werewolf PVE nerfing is quite disappointing

Well, I like WW very much. Most of my toons have it. I got away from ESO for almost one year and half, and now I'm back just realize WW got seriously nerfed.

If the problem was the WW groups running on PVP places, or WW strength too big for Dungeons groups, I'm sure it will be possible to create more specific limitations to this class in order to avoid such problems. But simply to cut most of its relevance is very unfair.

WW overall Nerfing was, imho, very disappointing. I think it's time to ZOS rethink this. A very interesting class was created and after some point it become almost useless. Why?

Please, bring Werewolf class back to spotlight.

    The PvP nerfs were more towards it's survivability and werewolf's offensive power actually saw a bit of a buff. The buff was the execution style damage over time put on Pounce. A werewolf berserker is going to be putting out a lot of damage, but the reason you just don't see them is because of the time in which you can stay in the form is limited in PvE as well as it being melee locked. Your group essentially has to be constantly attacking and progressing otherwise you lose it.

    Other issues are the fact that your build is limited to a single bar, you lose weapon passives, your skills are hard to sustain, and you can't do complicated build designs. The execution style damage over time is very useful, and the spammable hits super duper hard, but it's not that good in PvE when mortal alternatives to doing DPS are just simply better.

    Pretty much what Vevvev said, while the pvp focused nerfs to survivability hurt some edge cases in pve for a dps werewolf to survive, and heavily hit the meme that is the ultra rare werewolf tank, the fact that werewolf is so limited is the main reason why it feels useless.

    Original vampire got it pretty close to right.

    Should be an addition to your character, not a full transformation.

    Here’s another unlocked skill tree with passives. There’s a trade off for anything gained. You cosmetically look different but also got stronger in some areas while simultaneously getting weaker in other areas.
