Help me pick my bow / destro combo

Nightblade Bow / Dragonknight Magicka Destruction Staff

I too am assuming this is two different characters. A stamblade is more effective than a stam DK and the current mag DK is a beast.

If you are talking about 2 different characters in a 4 person group then it is generally easier to have both be magika or stamina. That way the healer and tank can gear up accordingly.

I'm guessing that Monday's PTS patch notes will weaken but not elimnate this point.

Nightblade Bow / Dragonknight Magicka Destruction Staff

NB is better suited for ranged skills and doesn't rely on any one damage type, they also have higher crit chance/damage which has a synergy with Bow's increase of crit chance.

DK is better suited for melee, of which bow skills like Acid Spray, Snipe and the long distance bow passive counter. DK is also directly effected by status effect chance as it helps their sustain/dps, Destro Staves increase status effect chance by +100%. Destro Staves also contain Flame Damage skills which are further boosted by their 5% Flame Damage passive.

Bow has 2 poison skills too which is influenced by the DK's 5% Poison Damage passive. You can really do either option, it doesn't matter that much, but the more apparent synergy is NB - Bow, DK - Fire Destro.
