Stuck in combat.... ALWAYS...

Can you please fix your damn game...
I am stuck in combat almost all the time when doing pledges... Switching gear is near impossible nowadays... I barely can go from aoe to single to close to range etc... Often I just have to fight in aoe gear when its a single target boss...
I dont have that "combat" glow around my screen... I dont have combat showing up or anything targeting me... no enemies around... Its just not letting me switch gear...
I think it is because pledges are so easy now it bugs out... if you run them with 4 dps and you just delete everything too quick it bugs out and even when you are out of combat it says you are...

Please fix this... so tired of runs being slower because we are getting stuck in combat when not even in [snip] combat...

Sheesh... That's a really, really old issue which, if I recall correctly, it's related to how much time an enemy keeps chasing you just to go away when you turn around, wait for them to come and hit once so they "give up".

Problem is that sometimes if we pass through an area at blazing speed game STILL doesn't recognize we've cleared up everything on our way and prevents access to doors (quite noticeable on Wayrest Sewers and City of Ash I).

Last Saturday I finished a dungeon with a guildmate, don't even remember which one, but we did it so fast that even after the final boss we were stuck in combat unable to even port out, forcing us to Leave Instance / Disband to get out.

I am the very model of a scientist Salarian, I've studied species Turian, Asari, and Batarian.
I'm quite good at genetics (as a subset of biology) because I am an expert (which I know is a tautology).
My xenoscience studies range from urban to agrarian, I am the very model of a Scientist Salarian.

You could try invisibility potions to see if that will break you out of combat.
    Worth a shot.

Yea that seems to be the issue. We kill everything but it still keeps us in combat. I also have the "dungeon is over but still in combat" issue.

However the weirdest one was when my combat was reversed... Last night in vWR1 I was in combat between the fights. Whenever the fight started I was OUT of combat. I changed staff as the boss fight was going on and I was taking damage...

I had never seen that one before until last night...

have you tried PvP? (ha) we're constantly in combat because that the point of Cyrodiil/PvP, but yet can't mount right after combat, there's some kind of clock ticking in the back ground and you either have to wait it out or ruin to a location where you can mount.....absolutely ridiculous
Everyone is going in one direction, I'm going the other direction

In dungeons, my experience is that this problem occurs most often when making big trash pulls. Some mobs will not want to move past a certain point, and may often end up stuck outside of the playable area/inside an obstacle.

At the beginning of Wayrest Sewers 1 there is a crocodile who get agro, yet that mob unable to reach players and usually skiped by them. So when second to last boss, the door will not open for sometime (players start sneaking to avoid it or do some other useless nonsense).

If you use DOTs or HOTs in Cyrodiil, you have likely encountered this problem, which can continue for 15-30 minutes sometimes, long after you have left the original battle and moved elsewhere. The Force Pulse skill for Destruction Staff seems to be one of the culprits to cause this bug if the targeted enemy does not die. Logging off, stepping inside a delve or leaving Cyrodiil entirely are often the only ways to fix this.

Because the flame status effect is a damage over time ability that is boosted by single target and DOT boosters, as well as sets like Elf Bane.
