Even with speed potions I've never been able to do it - satellite ping is a real killer on stuff like this and the lockpicking one.

You can do it in under 35 seconds if you run between the fires and do them in the right order so that you then run straight to the quest giver. If you are wearing heavy armour take it off first as well.

If the game is being laggy then the lag on the fire being lit before you can move away can actually prevent you from doing it without stuff like speed potions.
Too many toons not enough time

usually the best plan is to start from either one of the ends, and there is a mostly directly line to follow

having ring of the wild hunt (or even any skill that gives major expedition) should be more than sufficient to get through in the time limit

if you really are having issues performing this by yourself, you can ask some friends/guildies to help (everyone stands at a fire and then just hits it and it should complete in seconds), however with all the access to move speed we have now its not as necessary

Group up with other players, each positions themselves at one of the signals. Someone shouts "go" and you all light them at once.

But it is possible to do it solo if you start at one of the ends and have speed pots or the ring of the wild hunt.

I've done with without potions & before the ring. But it was with a Stamblade in medium armor with many sprint passives & CP stars. (previous CP system)

I asked same question last year. My sorc was oh so slow. No tips helped me. I did the achievement only by keepng asking in a zone chat to group. Some people wrote same tips as here, some laughed at me. But finally I found a player who had the same problem: he was too slow. We grouped and took 2 braziers to lit. It was a sucess. I wish I could help, but I'm on PC EU...

Hoooray! I finally did it!, planned my route to start furthest from quest giver, used a speed potion, and changed to the steed mundus, this was the only thing keeping my main from being "Magnanimous" :)

    Thanks for your help!

Not necessary. Even though she speaks differently, the timer actually stops when you've lit the final fire. The timer also doesn't technically start until you light the first pyre.

Any combo of sets that add stamina and run speed (Coward's, Fiords, even Jailbreaker), movement bonuses in CP's, movement bonuses in Med Armor line (if you have the points to spare), any skills that buff speed, even briefly (Psijic, NB, Sorc) and trash stam pots will do the trick.

I find it easier to start at the end opposite the quest giver, light #1, light #2, then hang a left and get #3, then double back for #4. Hop down, receive your reward.

A couple minor helpful hints, once you've started lighting the pyre, turn your view 180 so you are ready to run. Watch for the NPC's, they're easy to get hung up on. Don't accidentally grab the skyshard ;).

Stam characters have advantage, but a single trash stam pot will also help out from being depleted.

You can also group up, as mentioned. (You can group up for the Lockpicking one too, provided all people have spoken with the local quest giver first. (Turning on Autoloot for the duration, also helps.)

    Good luck!

Additional tip: you can start moving before the lighting the fire animation ends. I did it without ring of the wild hunt and without speed potions or anything like that. Plan the route, and start moving as soon as your character starts lighting the fire.

I got the achievement on a toon with no gear, and the only CP passive was steed's blessing. If you imagine all four fires in a quadrant when facing them from the quest giver, I order them as so: upper right start, run to lower right, go back and run across the long bridge and light the upper left one, then run to the lower left and you're done. (Hopefully this isn't too confusing)

In this order you end between 25 and 20 seconds. For the record, the fastest time on a toon I had with maxed out speed was 26-25 seconds, so it doesn't matter what you do or don't put on your character.

    Hope this helps.

If you use this route then I think you should be able to get it done. This character didn't have any speed boosts that I put on, although I did catch someone else's at one point. But she did have a heavy armor piece on to so it probably evens out. I used this with success most times back when this event launched with no speed boosts used at all.

There is no doubling back using that route so it's pretty quick.

It's okay it's something asked every year. The first year everyone was looking for solutions

The easiest way is to group for it. Just 2 people makes it piece of cake or can do 4.

    Other options
Speed potions the theif pots in particular
    Major and minor expedition
    Medium amour
    Speed mundus
    Sets like wild hunt

Start at the NW one. It's as simple as that really.

Did it today on a magplar with no buffs.

Option 2 is to ask in zone chat for someone to group up- they count for each other.

Yup, without buffs you have a few seconds to spare easily, with RotWH, speed gear, Steed mundus or whatever... you can almost walk it.

This was the difference maker for me when I figured it out a year or two ago. Before that, I got the achievement on one character by grouping up with people.

Def did it in under 35 secs but no achievement - was watching the countdown & lit last brazier on 19 secs then jumped down to speak to quest giver.

Same yesterday with timed one on lockboxes….

You don't need to go back to quest giver within this time - just focus on fires. Get some expedition from Psijic or Alliance Skills or even teleport if you are Sorc or NB ;)

Check optimal route and just run. And listen where igniting has ended to run to another one ;)

This guy does it backwards from how I do it, but it's the same route. For a visual in case my earlier explanation was too confusing.

It's trivial with wild hunt, provided you lit them up in a reasonable order (an example start with the one near to the quest giver, then run to the skyshard one, then from there straight - left - straight to the one up in the highway corner, then from there to the last one down in the far end behind the building)

I've also done it before wild hunt existed, even on multiple magicka char. You need a source of major expedition (without that it's not possible) and also you will need to sprint some when you can in the long straight lines. (preferably use the psijic skill for major expedition as you need stamina for sprinting)
