What does the Golden Vendor offer this week?
The Adhazabi Aba-daro is a special ESO vendor that only appears on the weekend to offer a random selection of gold jewelry (2 from dungeons and two from zone items sets), two monster set helms or shoulders (pledge dungeons).

Their location will depend on your faction: Aldmeri Dominion (Western Elsweyr Gate), Daggerfall Covenant (Northern High Rock Gate), Ebonheart Pact (Southern Morrowind Gate)

1. Necklace of the Lich – Arcane 250,000g / 500,000AP
2. Crimson Amulet – Healthy 250,000g / 500,000AP
3. Necklace of Unfathomable Darkness – Robust 150,000g / 300,000AP*
4. Beekeeper’s Necklace – Healthy 150,000g / 300,000AP*
5. Swarm Mother’s Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP
6. Selene’s Helm – Infused / Impenetrable (Light, Medium, Heavy) 100,000g / 200,000AP

*tradeable

Non-Jewelry Items purchased with Alliance points are impenetrable.

Look them up, see how the sets work for how / where you playing. Lich good sustain was popular in PvP years, beekeeper tanky IIRC

It's a shame that this is essentially useless for newer players. It would be nice if the vendor sold level appropriate gear in addition to the cp160 items. As a point of comparison, Xur in Destiny 2 is essentially the same exact thing, but he sells gear that is level scaled.

160cp isn't that hard to get up, you'll be there in 1-2 weeks after reaching level 50. Even if you don't care about the second set bonus, the 1pc can be pretty good especially this week's Swarm Mother helm at legendary is 1096 max stamina and max magicka, combine this with Domihaus shoulders for another 1096 max stamina and max magicka. In comparison they provide more stats than the 2pc Agility or Willpower with 1752 max stamina or max magicka, its more than the 5pc bonus on Shacklebreaker at 2065 max stamina and max magicka.

That's not too bad at lower CP when you don't have enough skill points or champion points to spend on boosting your output, having a boost of up to (at legendary) 2192 max stamina and max magicka with just 2 pieces of gear seems decent to me until you get better set bonuses or higher CP to offset the difference.

what new players have 100k or more to spend?, plus at the rate we level up, it would be a waste of coins, can easily get to cp160 in a weekish

Really disagree with this @RicAlmighty firstly it's easy to hit CP160

Bit more importantly Gold and AP whales would then make hugely OP toons for icereach. I.e. monster helms and gold gear.

Also unsure how many sub CP160 players could afford these items?

If you're not cp160, then getting gold jewelry shouldn't be a focus.

And if you're not cp160, I doubt you have that amount of AP/gold anyway.

Plus, monster sets are only for champion point ranks. And again, it's worthless getting a cp 10 monster piece as you'll outgrow it in a about 3 minutes.
