For my 4 Dk’s mag and stam chars this is obvious situation when I enter BG’s. Half of skills is not working, starting with ulti leap, chains, 2H gapclosers and even some vampire skills. Most times I have to switch the skills on both bars, swap weapons (I do not need 2 H mace without skills) and play with random skill build.
I tried to turn off Dk’s passives that appplies range extension for melee skills but the bugs still persists. I have also noticed that this is individual issue when playin with some other DK in group and for him is everything working.
Greatest issue on this is on stam chars, because you have no swappable skills to respec or change. On mag too s I can switch to ranged abillities and somehow manage to play but on stam chars this is not possible…
I recently started playing a stam DK and found that in many situations for some odd reasons gap closers such as "invasion" or "critical rush" or even the ulti "dragon leap" won't fire. It appears quite often after joining a BG or a dungeon and disappears afterwards. Needless to say, it impairs the gameplay, especially in PvP. I've heard from season DKs that this bug has persisted for years now. Any light on the horizon for it to be fixed?

if u refer to the leap bug which greys out leap and all gap closers then changing zone fixes it. Its not a garantee 100% but normally 1 zone change is enough, very rare u need to change zone agin means 2x. It happens mostly when respawning, so respawning in a different zone wont help. After respawn u need change zone. In IC u need enter another district, in BG u need leave and in cyro u need leave and enter again. If you have queue in Cyro shutting down eso via Alt+ctrl+del helps becuase if you logg in again with same char within 10 min u end up in cyro again.

So you're saying the 'fix' to this bug is just to quit the BG if the instance you get into has bugged skills?............

Use the search bar and type in "leap bug". See how many threads there are about this bug. Lot of people said that they filed in-game bug reports as well.
Here's one I made back in June with screenshots explaining the issue,

I don't know what more players could do to assist. There's no point. It's not gonna get fixed anytime soon.
Yeah this hit me on my mag dk last night in BGs. I put together a great build I wanted to try but was relegated to using Magma Shell the entire match instead of leap. Leap just would not work at all.
