Guild Applications

Just a quick query, is it a slow week or something? Since Monday (Coincidently when the patch dropped) between my 4 guilds I have had 2 applications. This is very strange as normally I get about 10 per guild per day. So is it just a slow week or has the patch caused some hidden bug?

My guild is still getting quite a few applications, maybe 10+ a day? But that is a big drop off from previously as well. I also noticed a great number of players that have gone inactive, offline for over two weeks, recently. I suspect school starting, many covid restrictions being lifted, returning to work at the office, and of course the upcoming holidays... to all have a part in it. Or maybe everyone got bored with ESO and went to play something else. But since this is the only MMO I play, I can't really say if this is common among all games right now, or just an ESO thing, although I suspect it is common among all right now.

Probably just slow week. Should start picking up soon with event

I wouldn't really count on it. The world was stuck at home with their computers as an only means to interact with others for what, a year and a half or so? ESO (and probably most games) saw a HUGE influx of players, who made friends and had adventures with them. Now that the greatest threat is over and life is getting back to somewhat normal... things are going to slow way down in game. Because it isn't just the folks who came because of Covid that are spending more time IRL, all the regular long time players also want to spend time with their friends they may not have seen for quite a while as well.
