Request: A "force disconnect" button after a game chrash

I tend to have the game just outright exit on itself whenever combat gets hectic. Be it in pvp, trial, heck even a dungeon, everything suddenly freeze and the game just nopes out on me.

That's annoying, especially in BGs where I never get time to get back before being replaced due to the dreaded "This account is already logged in" message, lasting all but half an eternity and seconds too long.

So here's a request for a feature for just that. After a crash, the first time that message pops up, let's have a button that just force disconnects the account rather than waiting for it to happen on its own.

In case the hardware is any relevant, I sport a Nitro 5 with an i5-9300H cpu and a 1660ti gpu, 16 gb ram with the game on medium to low settings just to give it all the chances to run the game just somewhat decent.

But if the game crashed, how would it give you the chance to do anything in it?

Try ParkControl, it lets you use 100% of your CPU.
Also look up ways to remove some weight off of your computer so it can handle heavy loads when they happen. My guess is that your CPU is the one having issues.
Try the stuff in this video. I used to do it for my old laptop and it was a godsend.

Lowering the resolution also removes some weight off your CPU so I recommend Lossless Scaling. It's a $5 software on Steam that you run along with your games and it applies AMD's FSR to anything you want. Just look up how to use it. It will basically upscale your resolution to your screen's resolution and all you gotta do is lower it in-game. Gives you more fps while looking very close to your full resolution and removes some load from the CPU. There's a free alternative to it but I don't remember the name. Just look up "Lossless Scaling vs" and it should show up.

One thing that works for me on console is to login to the EU server (I play NA) and then back to the NA server as force disconnect. It usually works.

When the game crashes the client has lost connection to the game so it is already disconnected. Not being able to log back in immediately is because the game has not yet realized the client disconnected.

Since the client cannot connect again until the server times out the session there is no means to offer a way to force the server to realize you are no longer connected.

An option at login like “This account is already logged in. Do you want to continue and terminate all other active sessions on this account?” would already help a lot after a disconnect.

I got the CPU artificially capped at 95% or so, as having it run to 100% activates a turbo boost and push the temperature to 95+ degree in seconds, opening up a host of other issues.

Exactly something like that yea, it would be awesome. No waiting for the server to realize it's disconnected before you can continue.

I'll try that next time and see if it speeds up the process. My hope really is to be able to get back before I get thrown out of a pvp match. It's terribly annoying to see a decent match be wasted, let alone the invested time and effort, because the game decides to nope out.

I play windowed mode, if the game freaks out like infinite loading screen or it froze up, just X out at the top right.

It kinda skips the infinite load thing and just act as a click on the x. So hanging isn't the problem, although the loads are amazingly slow for me
