Does this housing item still drops?? 6th House banner from Forgotten Wastes.

I would really like to make 6th house themed home but this one thing just seems to never really drop. Also haven't seen it for weeks (if not months) at TTC EU.
Could we please ask for increase of this drop? there is a lot of stuff to do in this game with often enough events and new content so it's kinda sad that after spending a lot of time in Forgotten Wastes I did not see even 1 drop of this banner.

Yes, it should still drop from the dungeon. I havent seen anything about it being taken out of the dungeon yet, but someone can correct me if I am wrong. The other day I was shocked when I actually got a Velothi Tapestry after looting a few urns. It was my first time even seeing one of those. So the whole furnishing drop rate in Vvardenfell is just ridiculous imo.

I've literally only seen this once, and it's in a screenshot of the OP's friend's house on here. I've never seen it drop, nor have I seen it on TTC NA. This has to be the rarest item in the game by a LONG shot-- it makes aetheric ciphers seem straight-up common (not counting the jubilee event boxes).

I too am trying to make a Sixth House themed house and it's maddening how rare this is. ZOS, can you PLEASE adjust the drop rate?

OP, I wouldn't even bother trying to farm the Forgotten Wastes. The banner is just too rare.

Oh well guess when we will have weekly endeavor to do 180 weapon/class skill kills is the time to go there and try the luck.
Seriously all Morrowind drops for housing stuff should be adjusted.

Would be great to have this item's drop rate increased at least somewhat. I'm a big fan of Morrowind lore and the Dunmer Houses, this banner would definitely find a spot in my main house. TTC on PC-EU has been showing no results though.

I have thrown myself at the dungeon for several hours at a time over the course of a few months and have only seen one velothi banner and nothing else. It feels like playing the lottery which is kinda fun in its own way, but there are better uses of time out there :P.

About a year ago, someone made a thread about having found one and trying to figure out what to ask for it since he couldn't find any sell data for one. So it did still drop around September 2020. Heard of nothing that points it doesn't drop still. It's just insanely rare.

It doesn't help much that it only drops in Forgotten Wastes to begin with, and there simply aren't that many people grinding that place these days. To further muddy things up, it isn't particularly striking or impressive bit of furnishings, so it doesn't scream "desirable" or look like it'd be as much of a rarity it really is. I doubt that most people even know it exist, and thus not that many people are even looking for one. And I wonder how many got sold as "vendor trash" by people not knowing what it was.

The thing, about one of those ultra rare drops, is that they do not have a meaningful price tag. I suppose a hardcore enthusiast for the 6th house, doing a home based on that theme, who happens to be one of those people who have 50+m in gold, can be perfectly willing to on drop like 5 million on buying one, since the alternative is possibly hundreds of hours of mind numbing farming in Forgotten Wastes.

Personally I might be willing to drop somewhere around 300k for one, maybe more if I ever get really serious about setting up that 6th house themed build. I have no illusions of ever coming across one for sensible price though. Andd even if I did, I'd prolly end up selling it to someone with way more gold than sense for a ludicrous sum.

But yeah, it should still drop, but I get the feeling that the odds are around the same as winning the lottery.

Yeah, 300k is far less than I'd imagine. We're going into the millions with this item. And agreed, its not really that impressive looking, its simply the rarity.

Been doing housing since the day it was added. Have never seen or even heard of this item.

But as @RisenEclipse said drop rates on most everything housing related were obscenely low when Vvardenfell was released.

I have seen only one for sale in the 4 years since it's been available. One. And it wasn't even my server. Even the lottery was won more often that. It's hard to imagine anyone who values rare things actually arguing that's an appropriate drop rate, unless they think a rare drop rate is automatically good no matter what and should never, ever be altered ever.

I've seen enough of the Sixth House Robes and fragments to know that enough people use it for it to be more common than it is, if it wasn't for the drop rate also being horrendous.

Ive gotten this item multiple times. It didnt used to be rare. They used to sell for cheap they were so common. Maybe 6-10k

I think @RisenEclipse meant they were in the Forgotten Wastes-- the public dungeon in northern Vvardenfell-- when they found a Velothi Tapestry in an urn, if that's the furnishing you're asking about.

I actually can't remember lol I do believe that the Velothi tapestry drops from ANY urns located inside ancestral tombs within Vvardenfell. But this was awhile ago that I found it XD
