Idea for endeavors

I think it would be really awesome if fishing was incorporated into the endeavors. A good idea for a daily endeavor would be "Catch 5 fish" and a weekly could be something like "Catch 50 fish." They could even get specific with it by saying "Catch 5 foul fish" or "Catch 50 saltwater fish." This may even help the perfect roe be a bit more affordable cause it would get more people fishing and put more on the market. Anyone else think fishing would be a great endeavor idea? What's another endeavor that you'd like to see added?

    It would be nice to have it. It would give me reason to fish in DLC areas that give just achievements and no other rewards.

    That, like the PvP endeavours, would limit my options even more, since I don't PvP and I find fishing marginally less interesting than watching paint dry.

    But at this point I'm worried they've put out there cookie cutter endevour content and it will never be tweaked tbh. Like daily log in rewards. And pvp campaign rewards. And random daily rewards.... I could go on.

    Anyways to answer your question off the top of my head someone suggest recently and I agree- it'd be cool to get housing incorporated into endevours. "Craft three parlor furnishings", "Visit 3 other players houses", etc.

    A fine idea. I'm happy to see lots of variety in endeavors. Sure there are some I won't touch (kill innocents, arenas, trials, BGs and most PvP endeavors) but I can (almost) always choose 3/5 that I find okay.

    Open them all up ALL OF THEM let people decide what they feel like doing each week each day, keep the limits on how many can be done. I don't want to be forced to partake in holiday events, probably a fair number of folks feel that way. They were promoted as things we normally do anyway and that's not what they are, they're a grind and chore and quite frankly boring.

    I think including some fishing endeavors would be good, even though I rarely ever fish in ESO. I think it'd be a good idea to have the dailies as 3 out of 8, rather than 3 out of 5... to give players more options that suit their regular play style, just to reduce forum whinging :D

    Perhaps they should include some MMO encouraging endeavors as well.. like 'send a whisper to a player' 'trade with a player' ... although now that I type that.. it does seem a bit to easy.

    Personally, I look at the stuff on offer in the endeavor store & just think "i don't want any of that stuff!" & therefore don't really care much if I hit daily endeavors or not. It's still nice to see a pop-up that I hit one though... isn't that strange... :D

    Not a easy as "Complete an endeavor." which actually was an endeavor once.

    Fishing should be in much more content tbh. Would like to see it in endeavours and can’t believe they never added it to the zone guide/completion progress

    Tbh. I always thought that endeavours were meant for every player. PvE, PvP, Questers, Crafters etc. So it should not matter what type of content you enjoy - you should always be able to do 3 endeavour "quest" without feeling that you are forced to participate in a party you don't belong to.

    So for example, endeavours should imho not require you to go to specific zone & do specific kind of activity. Instead it should be a "general" task.
    For example: "kill npcs with class ability"
    Might as well be: "kill humanoids with class ability".

    ^ So that way it would also count players, so you can progress this "task" with both killing npcs, but also enemy players if you like PvP more than PvE.

    Biggest issue with current endeavours is that those very often present lack of choice. You have to go to specific zone to do specific task. Often it results in certain areas being overcrowded & task being hard to accomplish (example: mobs spawn too slow and there is 15 people waiting to get credit for the kill, effectively competing with eachother instead of working together to deafeat PvE stuff). Problem is even more severe if it requires you to go to IC or one of the Cyrodiil cities. This mixture produces (and rewards) very toxic behaviour as there will be players there not doing the endeavours, but basically "griefing" on others, preventing them to complete the endeavour task.

    TLDR: Every endeavour should have "or" build in, to present more options (some examples):
    - Kill 10 npcs or kill 10 players.
    - Do daily quest in Craglorn or Imperial City.
    - Complete a Delve or Capture a keep.
    - Harvest crafting materials or Capture a resource in Cyrodiil.
    - Complete a trial or public dungeon group event
    And so on...

    I really like this idea. This doubles the number of choices, allowing more variety so more players can find options that fit their playstyles. I think they should do this with the weekly endeavors, too.
