Unfortunately, ZoS no longer commits to double drops of arena/dungeon/trial loot. That's a pity, because extra drops of those kinds are the main appeal of regional events.
That's especially true for Year One. A while back, when Perfected Maelstrom weapons were introduced, @Alcast said he wouldn't even bother rerunning Maelstrom Arena until there was a double-drop event. (I don't know whether he stuck by that, but that's what he said to me at the time.
) I've NEVER done Dragonstar Arena in any form, but two different Master's Weapons look interesting for how I play (the resto staff always has for large groups, and the ice staff now might for wardens and/or healers). I was assuming it would be easier to find or form a group for nDSA during the event -- but if double drops don't happen, why should that assumption prove correct?

In addition to the Year One Coffers, during the event period, the following activities have bonus rewards:
- Double reward boxes for all Daily Quests in Wrothgar, Imperial City, and Craglorn
- Increased resource node rewards (not including those from fishing holes or crafting materials obtained from creatures)
- Bonus loot from World Bosses, Dungeon Bosses, and Delve Bosses
- Bonus loot from chests in the Maelstrom and Dragonstar Arenas
- Bonus loot from the bosses in the Craglorn Trials (in addition to earning two coffers for the Trial’s Weekly Quest)
- Bonus Tel Var stones earned in the Imperial City
I'm curious to see what people's actual experiences wind up being.

✭I don’t understand the problem here. Confirmed double drops from the ZOS official announcement for the event. All arena rewards ALWAYS come from chests. ALWAYS.
Bonus Craglorn Trial Boss loot seals that. AND you’re getting coffers with motifs and such.5 -

The implication holds only if the bonus loot is of the same kind as the main drop.

It always was, double VMA drops were two random weapons (sets I might say, as some come in 2's like s&b and DW so were 4 weapons total) plus double trash set parts, same as any other containers. I believe with transmutes being there it's also double.0 -

Bonus loot could mean a gear you can sell at a vendor....PC

So I can confirm that it's possible to get style pages from purple coffers, and that style pages can come from Year One coffers even though you aren't in the arena, or even in the zone, associated with them.Event Tracker addon (PC NA/EU)

Craglorn, IC and Wrothgar stuff has been dropping interchangeably for me from containers. I think I got a Pariah piece from a Craglorn repeatable quest "Humble Yokudan" quest reward coffer, and one of the Craglorn sets from a "Siegemaster" (?) IC quest reward coffer.0 -

Today I got 2 Master's Inferno from one run in nDA.
1 Inferno + S&B set from 1st run in vMA.
2 sets of S&B from 2nd run in vMA.
I always suspected that they hire groundhog to design their RNG, but after today's event, I am certain of it ^^0
